Try getting a long term volunteer experience that you can participate throughout college. Also try starting a fundraiser/non-profit org

Step 1: actually ask yourself if you are going into medicine for the right reasons. Don’t just forget that you are going to college for 4 years and that your interests may change.
That being said, if you can shadow, volunteer or do research, then these activities may help you pique your interest in premed.
Also try and take any AP/IB sciences if possible. Having exposure to a significant level of science will be good for your premed reqs

Since starting in 2022 USMLE step 1 is changing to pass/ fail, any idea how that will impact the residency match process? Does it mean residency programs will be putting more weight on CK step 2 and CS? Does it make step 1 less relevant?
