- This is my initial review and experience with the Cocoa Press. I absolutely love the printer and I really hope you enjoy my video.
I streamed building the entire printer on my Twitch:

I will be building electronics projects, kits, legos, and many more on my twitch if you'd like to see more.

Once again all thanks to Ellie Rose, the real MVP for bringing this to fruition. We all love and support what you've strived to do for the community and I can't wait to see what you do next!
This is a brilliant video of a barely covered machine. Thanks for this!
Absolutely! I was really shocked by how little coverage it’s gotten since the release in Nov and Dec.
i made a chocolate printer a few years ago. to fix this type of thing i had to use a active temp control with an extra sensor for quicker temp control.
The top layers aren't getting enough time to cool. Likely you can make minimum layer time setting. Not pressure or anything else. Purely temperature. Even an external fan blowing on it would help some.
Nice work!
could be layer speed and not allowing enough time for cooling between layers? in the timelapses of the pyramid and bear(?) it seems to get more molten as it gets thinner toward the top?
I’ll try some tests and see if it gets better
@@devilryascended A dirty job but someone has to do it ;)
the background music is way too loud.
Plane vid!!!!!
Good video... some technical issues with close-ups (very annoying)
I completely agree, I’m gonna work on that for my next video. Definitely need to make sure the focus is working well.
The failures at the top look like a cooling issue. Needs increasing layer time or adding external fans.
Love you!!!!!!!!!!!!! best of luck on the UA-cam!!!!!!!!!!
WOOOOO JOHN!!!!
What mic do yu use?

There's a video titled "3D printed gourmet chocolate" by the Associated Press from 6 years ago that showcases a printer that produces far better results. At $1500 + having to already own a printer that ideally can print ABS, this is a step in the wrong direction for printing in this medium.
If you're doing simple shapes like they did in that video, cocoa press is as good or better. There is a bit of a learning curve too. When you first started printing plastic, I'm sure your prints didn't look as good as I'm sure they do now.
