Does the always on display etc on the watch 6 line up work on people with tattoos on their arms? Because my watch 5 pro doesnt work for me the always on display dont work notifications dont work and vibrations dont work because of my tattoos:( would really much want the watch 6 classic but whats the point if the always on dont work ?
A 4 Classic vs 6 Classic video would be awesome, specially to see if old bands are compatible, side to side thickness, battery life

They're compatible
They obviously are.
With bands you only need to see if the width is right and if the mounting is the same.
If they use the standard pin-mount system (which it looks like this is the case) you can put whatever band you want on the watch.
tip, if you want easy swapping, the quick release pins might be your thing (but they can be abit less stable)
@@Wesjapa100 With tech some things aren't really obvious, I don't think apple offers standard mounted bands on their watches. Very often everything is perspiratory
My husband and I are still rocking the 3 classic. No issues yet, works all day long. But now that they are bring the rotating bezel back I think its time for an upgrade!
Thinking the same thing, was holding onto my 3 and 4 was too soon, 5 didnt have the bezel, I think this may be it.

I think I will trade in my 5 pro. I use the watch 4 classic and even my watch 3 classic more. The battery life is much better on the watch 5 pro.
Finally the classic versions are back. These are the best in my opinion

Ewe NO , the classic versions are terrible🤮. Having a physical rotating bezel is stupid because if it would stop working at any point then you have a useless object on your watch.
A video comparing the GW4 Classic and the GW6 Classic would be awesome, focusing on if it's really worthwhile for GW4C users to upgrade this time, especially because several software improvements of the new 6 will also come to the 4. Having said that, I do want that 6 Classic and am very happy Samsung is bringing back the rotating bezel!
Coming from the watch 4 classic the rotating bezel is a time saver, happy that Samsung is bringing it back!
Would love to see a comparison between this and the Watch 4 Classic. On paper, there isn't a drastic difference. Real improvements in battery life and performance are what would compel me to upgrade.

i thought they would improve the battery, but when i looked at the watch 6 classic on samsungs website, they quoted upto 40 hours of battery, which is similar to the watch 4 classic
Battery really is the only thing that would make me upgrade from the GW4...I'm perfectly fine with everything

Still running the galaxy with the original rotating bezel have pimped the bezel and strap up but hardly a scratch and excellent battery all these years later and that's amazing because I do a lot of our door DIY and building. Amazing beast.

The battery life is the real question for me personally. I got used to 3 days with 5 pro.
Same but I'm on different devices though I'm on different device that's ever so slightly less smart but lasts 2 weeks. That's overkill really but 3 full days including overnight is probably minimum for me. It's just criminal what people are letting them get away with by still buying these not even 1 24 hour day watches.
I've been using my Watch6 Classic for a couple days. The battery life is as horrible as it is on the Watch4 Classic
If you want battery life, take a look at Huawei watches.
The Watch 4 PRO can last upto 21 days, and IMO its currently the best looking smartwatch out there.
@@JohnSmith-ef8nrThe crown location looks horrible on Huawei. The watch looks unbalanced with the crown location or like they had a manufacturing defect. Good battery life doesn't make up for an odd-looking watch design. Add 2 crowns like a traditional chrono and it would be a nice looking watch. Hard pass on it being the best looking. The new Galaxy 6 classic looks better hands down.

Well I really like it, I tryed a Galaxy watch but spent more time charging it than wearing it, I get about 10 days with the Watch 4 pro with AOD on.
Also I wanted titanium and sapphire glass, stainless or aluminium scratches too easily
The full front screen protects the watch from scratches, and the Ti strap is really nice.
I feel like my 5pro already has all of these features but it's more durable and much better battery life. I'll wait to see what the 7 offers

I have a watch 5 pro and to be honest the battery will last you for more than a couple of days easily there's no reason to upgrade it's just a waste of money unless you want the bezel
Battery life is the most important thing to me. I wear my watch 24/7 except for the charging time. I'm keeping the 5 pro until something with better battery life comes along. TicWatch maybe something to look into... I feel they failed with not providing a bigger battery for the 47mm version
This has physical bezel with faster software and hardware.

Letttsss goooo rotating bezel is back baby! I think i might pull the trigger this year and get my first smartwatch. Already joined the galaxy ecosystem this year by getting the new S23 Ultra so i think I think my next step will be expanding it to the watches.
My watch 4 classic actually have been a 2 and a half day watch since the updates, always ended the day with 70% even with auto tracking & google assistant on. Hope this got more battery

The main reason why I got the 5 Pro was for the larger and longer battery life. Disappointed to here the 6 Classic has the same size battery as the 6, but we'll have to see how long that battery lasts. 2.5 - 3+ days was soooo nice for the 5 Pro
I wish people talked more about the sleep tracking on Samsung. It literally puts the Apple watch into the geound as far as useful information goes. Also, the Body Composition feature is amazing. I do think the Fat % is a little off because I have other devices for Body Comp but still an excellent tool to have.
The fat % for me is usually around 2 - 3% off the actual reading. The rest is scary accurate for a body composition reading done with 2 finger contact lol
The sleep tracking is highly inaccurate.
The Apple Watch isn't a little more accurate in this regard, it is disgustingly, obscenely more accurate.
If people talked about it, you would know this.
About the sleep tracking: a smartwatch isn't able to track sleep phases. It can only guess how long your sleep phases are. The only thing that a smartwatch is relatively good at is when you fall asleep and when you wake up. That's it.

Coming from an Active 2, definitely was an exciting upgrade.. the bezel to protect the watch. Comfrotable to sleep in.. timers.. lots of timer buttons. I charge it when i get to work, and it has about 40% battery. I love this watch and with the sale was $250 plus $15 mo for LTE service
Classic version is a game changer. I bought an watch 4 classic instead of watch 5 . Physical rotating bezel is very handy

I got a regular watch 4 refurbished for $70 from backmarket. Came like new. I'm very happy with it and I personally think it's a much better deal than $300 for the regular watch 6.

I've been using the Watch3 Classic for a while now. When I saw that the Watch5 had ditched the classic line and rotating bezel, I had resigned myself to getting the Watch4 Classic.
Glad to see that they brought back the classic and physical rotating bezel. It's my favorite feature of the watch.
I think a comparison video between the 4 and 6 would be cool.
My basic take on this years Samsung stuff : I have a Fold 3 and a Galaxy Pro 5. Nothing they showed off makes me feel the need to upgrade immediately but on the other hand, when either of them wear out I will have no compunctions about going to the newer ones. So not an immediate upgrade but good enough that when I need to replace things they are there.
One thing i am always excited whenever a new version of watch comes out is the discounted price of the predecessor which is not that far from the features of the new one! 😃👍

I had the Gear s3, and only upgraded to the galaxy 3 classic when it came out because it had been a few years and i finally felt it was worth the upgrade. Didnt think id upgrade so fast, but the galaxy 4 classic changed so much that i felt it was worth yet another upgrade. There was a time when i thought it would be the last upgrade id have, after they announced the removal of the bezel. It genuinely was a deal breaker for me. Im curious how much has changed between the 4 classic and 6 classic, and if its worth an upgrade now that they brought the bezel back.
I hoped for a more tangible battery improvement. I own GW4C and the need to charge every day makes me compare the new GW6C with the offers from Garmin.

This looks way better than my classic 4. One issue i had with my classic 4 was the rotating bezel was too big, making it look outdated
I'll be waiting for Galaxy Watch 4 and 6 Classic comparison. I bought Watch 4 classic over 5 or 5 Pro because of the physical bezel and it does feel better to use the physical bezel instead of digital one.
So far, I've been wearing 4 classic everyday while sleeping and swimming. It works really well for me.
The only bad thing about it is the original strap gives my wrist rash if I wear the whole day. I had to change a stainless steel strap.

Last year's 5 left me with reason not to change my iPhone to the S23 Ultra. I simply needed Apple Watch,
This removes that reason in so many ways, looks quite stunning watch & you know the biggest reason for me? The bands having quick release similar to Apple Watch is a massive improvement. I think I'll take another look at S23 Ultra now, nothing to stop me I guess.

At this point, the Galaxy watch4 classic and the watch 6 classic are the watches if you like modern & classic with a stylish look.
The video in these videos are getting really good.
Maybe one tip or somethiong, you could wipe down the watch abit when doing the b-roll, the smudges could come over negative for some people.

I've got two 4 Classics (blk and a stainless). Yet, I'm still tempted by the 6 Classic.
BUT - I'm confused at what I'm seeing in the press Classics vs what's on Samsung's site. The press ones show highly polished highlights, as compared to the machined look like my stainless 4 classic).

I really wanted the GW6 classic in silver but the silver just draws to much attention imo. Now when I think about it, when i see people rocking silver, it's just the main focus. Stands out too much Imo. But that's just me. Glad I continue my personal trend of black on everything when it comes to my devices

I already pre-ordered to upgrade(?) from 5 Pro to 6 Classic. Obviously the battery drop is a bummer, but I don't use any of the features unique to the pro like route backtracking or anything, so I'm okay moving on, and I charge while I'm in the shower, so even the 6 Classic should never be a worry with battery.
I'm thrilled to hear about the infrared sensor in sleep though, I hadn't seen that anywhere else. No more blinding my wife when it won't stop shining green.
yeah I really missed the Watch 4's rotating bezel when I went to the Watch 5. So I immediately order the 6 and trade in the 5.
Bro I js got it because I warrantied my watch 2 BACK ON TYZEN CUH and ts is a major upgrade haven't had a watch in a few years and last experience wasn't too good and my dad been buying them up to the 4 which he still has. I love the new bezel still used to the touchscreen but I love the tactile feedback and the display has a higher refresh it seems a lot smoother at least 60hz but it feels comparable to my phone which is 120. Can't rlly tell by eye

I am going to be honest I prefer the 5 pro. The larger battery and ruggedness is a must have for me. Plus the rotating bezel isn't really up my alley, I prefer the digital one. Found the physical one tends to get clogged with dirt and dust.
I still have my watch 3 classic and 4 classic with a metal strap which really makes it look good. Also have the watch 5 pro but I only use it when out with the kids, cycling, playing sports, theme parks etc as it is more rugged.
Went from the 3 classic to the 5 pro and think when the contract runs out I will just go back to the 3. The sensors on the 5 pro suck so if the ones on the 6 are the same there will be no reason to update and I miss the bezel. Got the 5 pro for the O2 sensor and even cleaning this one everyday it still does not work most of the time when I want to check my O2. And with my health issues that is not good.
Was holding off because on buying the 5pro but I bummed out with the battery and I feel like the specs is somewhat the same with 5 pro... 1.5 to 2.0 also mean a consumes more battery... The fact that it has a smaller battery capacity also means it will be maximum of 2 days of battery life. Also the backtrack is also not in watch 6 :(

I have the 5 and it's growing on me. I had to exchange it once but Best Buy took care of me like always. But I can still take it back and upgrade. So I think I'm going to do that for this. I like this look.
The main reason I always give up buying a smart watch over a smartband is battery life... recharging everyday or every 2 days is just too much

The Galaxy Watch 6 having a classic version makes this generation way more appealing. The newer chip also helps. Even if the performance ends up being similar, it at least won't feel like you're buying the same watch.

Thanks for the first look! What's the distance between each "click" on the bezel? I always felt like they were a little too far apart on my GW4
Just going by specs going from GWatch 4 Classic to GWatch 5 Classic will see a decent boost from the battery alone, 361 -> 425mAh but the rest of the upgrade kind of negates the benefits because you have a larger screen (uses more battery) and a higher clocked CPU (1.18 -> 1.40GHz), the Exynos W930 is essentially the W920 w/ higher clocks so you're going to be eating up more battery. The 1.5GB -> 2.0GB RAM is nice but again not really needed IMO unless you use your watch a lot like listening music from it, reading news, and/or replying to peoples messages etc...
Just in comparison to my GWatch 5 Pro which has similar specs to the GWatch 4 Classic yet has a larger 590mAh battery that gives me roughly 3 days or so which puts the 5 Classic probably back to 2-3 days at most before recharging. Granted my uses are different but I always use timer and read messages while im at the gym and not looking at my phone constantly. I sure do miss the rotating bezel but I've learned to live without it and went back to swiping.
Another thing to consider which will depend on the person is you're going from 30.3g to 59.0g in weight.
So probably a good decent upgrade from the 4 but not from the 5 IMO. Unless you have to have the irregular heart rate notification 🤔

Wife and I have watch 4 Classic LTE. I have the larger and she has the smaller version. Battery life is horrible especially on the smaller watch. We would definitely like to see if we should upgrade for better battery life.
I feel like based on this youtube video it says 18 hour battery life... that seems kinda horrible IMO. I'd like to know more accurate figures for the 43mm classic.
