- Hello everyone and welcome to this video! In today's video we went on Flying Scotsman's footplate! Watch to the end because I blow the whistle! My face says it all. I hope you enjoy the video (or enjoyed it if you are reading this after watching)!
What a beauty!! It is nice to see that she's still running. That young lad is very fortunate!
It sure was an amazing experience, one that I shall never forget.😄
I absolutely love his reaction after yanking the cord. Shocked, but then grinning. What a lucky kid.
Yeah, it sure was amazing! Thanks.

EXCELLENT WORK WITH THIS OFFICIAL VIDEO TAKING PLACE ON THE FOOTPLATE OF FLYING SCOTSMAN FOR SURE!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video!:D
@@Trainguy_Carguy_M_YT1307 THANKS A BUNCH FOR YOUR REPLY TO MY OWN OFFICIAL COMMENT ON THIS OFFICIAL VIDEO TAKING PLACE ON FLYIN' SCOTSMAN'S FOOTPLATE!
By the way, in the famously well-known Rev W Awdry's Railway Series book titled Enterprising Engines alongside 2 movies during the show's own official complete full CGI animation era titled The Great Race & Big World Big Adventures, Flying Scotsman himself was basically mentioned as Gordon the Big blue livery-paintwork carrying the official #4 L N E R class A0 Pacific type of steam-driven railway tender locomotive designed by Sir Herbert Nigel Gresley himself in Doncaster during the official 192Os as a prototype of the well-known L N E R class A1 Pacific type of steam-driven railway tender locomotive's own official sole-serving Doncaster built brother!
Mum and I went on the flying scotsman footplate too and we had a shot on whistle too.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! You can tell how loud the whistle is by listening to the audio as the microphone doesn't pick up any more sound! :D
WOW thats so lucky and i met you on a livestream remember
Ah yes, thanks for subscribing too!😃
your welcome@@Trainguy_Carguy_M_YT1307
This is awesome. When I went to a train show with my father, the engineer, let us get a tour of the cab. I knew all the controls the dynamic brakes, air brakes, throttle even showing us how to turn on the engine. As I remember, I think it was an Alco. Locomotive don’t know a lot but I’m a big fan of trains
Awesome!! There are no other words to describe such an honor. Some days I wish I was British and not American because England has much cooler railways than the USA. Also because I can’t travel outside of my home country due to not owning a passport
It was a truly amazing experience and even though you don't have a passport, America is way bigger than the UK so you can still travel and I have never been abroad myself either although I don't know if you need a passport to go to different states. Glad you enjoyed the video! 😃

WOW I love
My god I could never fit through the tender💀 but you’re so lucky to be in the cab of the flying Scotsman. Someday I wish that could be me
Well, I'm surprised I could fit and also I hope the Flying Scotsman comes near to you soon, so you get an opportunity like that. It was also a 2 hour drive to get there and 2 hours to get back!
@@Trainguy_Carguy_M_YT1307 sadly I’m in Canada but someday I hope to go see the flying Scotsman when I’m older, it would be really nice to see!
Awesome thats super lucky
Very!
I wish I was born in England

It would be okay to paint the tender corridor.
In the beginning, is that the tender that the kid was walking?
Yes, there was a coach attached to the corridor tender on the day, and visitors walked through to get to the footplate.
@@xelvator Thanks for explaining!
