This song reduces me to tears every single time I hear it, firstly, because it's right, and secondly, because we never seem to learn. Serj and the rest of SOAD are beautiful people.
John seems to hold some beliefs very contradictory to SOAD's manifesto as he is very openly a trump supporter. Naturally this causes a lot of tension between him and Serj especially, of course they love each other very deeply as SOAD have always had a sort of brotherhood, just John holds some controversial beliefs and defends them fiercely

This was filmed on my 14th birthday. I remember walking down town in the frozen streets of my small town that day so depressed about the announcement of the war. I had no idea these protests were happening, but a few months later, I saw this video. It was my intro to SOAD and the war protests both. Knowing there were so many people out there who felt the same, and finding this amazing music, helped get me through those horrible teen years of war.
Yes!! Other bands talk about politics bug you don't see them doing this kind of movements. They can talk about politics all they want but they will never be on SOAD's level

I really miss bands like SOAD. Songs with purposes, relevance in the music scene, creativity. How could we end up with an almost dead rock scene like the one from nowadays?
Other genres are stepping up. They don't sound like this but they have the same energy and messages.
It's not just the rock scene that is awful today. The entire music scene just sucks. Utter garbage is all that is released these days. I can't stand listening to any radio stations.
