Its really something special when you're using all your weapons and tools to prioritize enemies while navigating the map. So much thought in how every aspect of the game interacts with each other.
@johnhodges5898 to my knowledge it's a result of going into the games files and modifying certain parameters for the level. For the visuals it could also be a shader but I'm not 100% sure.
@@johnhodges5898 skybox replacement (it's the blood swamps one), I changed a lot of lights in the level and tweaked the overall light parameters and visual properties of the level (the env decl). Also I added several light scattering/fogs in some areas. I wanted this modded level to feel like mine, that's why I noticed the argent energy tower similarity when I replayed D2016, that was unintentional but a very cool side effect.
Yeaahhh... that final arena fight of the Mars Core level was absolutely absurd. Master Level or not, there is such a thing as having the sense as a designer to know when a fight is going on for too long, and that fight absolutely went over that limit by at least 5 minutes.
Recently finished my first nightmare run of Eternal with the DLCs and used a lot of Zero Master's videos to try and improve my skills. After that seeing this video pop up and watching him play Eternal again, his skills are ridiculous. I'm in disbelief at how fast, accurate and efficient he is. The nightmare master levels aren't hard enough, so he has to find ways to handicap himself to make them sufficiently challenging.

Only thing I see around that time is a lot of rainbow colors and the vague outline of an enemy. Miss the time where you had clearly defined enemies, rooms and weapons. And could retreat around a corner for an ambush of dozens of enemies. Maybe I should just stick to 90's Doom😂
I made this modded level with a shitty computer on low graphics, as a matter of fact I'm pleasantly surprised by the fact that ray tracing works properly

What's wild watching this is you have finally broken past the boundaries of balance the devs intended. Most players rely heavily on the chain gun shield and ice bomb but you barely use them. You've blasted through the skill ceiling and your quickswapping of the ballista, pb, and ssg is simply overpowering. It's seriously impressive
Man I use to watch alot of these vids, I really miss my time with this game. Although I could never beat it on Ultra Nightmare I got pretty good at the game with enough practise. What a masterpiece of a game.
My god this game is beautiful when u watch in 1080p a 4k video with all ultra settings 60fps,no hud after u play at ultra low at 30-35.Makes me truly excited since I will be able to value it when I play on a pc like that some day😍😍
I'm 9 months late but I can answer that, it's my custom modded ML, since we can't do custom geo I like to tweak skyboxes and lights/visuals so the modded levels feel different from their vanilla counterpart.

If someone wanted to make this game harder all they would have to do is mod it so enemies can attack and damage player during glory kill ,using chainsaw or Crucible

The real reason why is because the game's development was not planned with it in mind, which leads to unorganized source code and developer tools that only they understand, with it being esoteric in nature. This is since it takes a lot of effort to organize those tools and their code during development and for the sake of releasing tools. Hugo Martin has said that this is the reason why in the past, and it is the reason why for most games too. They don't care about Hdoom impacting anything because that is just the way the internet goes.

While Davoth may not be „fixable“, I‘d say the rest of TAG 2 easily is. Just look at the world spear master level. It‘s imo on par with Taras Nabad ML

How do you switch weapons so fast? I've only played the first game and you couldn't do that in it.
PC hotkeys and practice. Once you get the timing it's easy. You have to start switching right as you're firing the first shot.
