48° Alpe del Nevegal 2022 Cronoscalata/Hillclimb Race - Auto Storiche/Classic Cars Highlights

This Highlights video dedicated to the 48th Alpe del Nevegal 2022 Hillclimb Race is about historic cars. 55 competitors at the start with a nice variety of racing cars, from the small Mini Cooper S, Fiat Abarth and Giannini to the mighty Porsche 911 RS, BMW M3 E30 and Osella PA-9-90. The victory went to Giuseppe Gallusi in a Porsche 935, winner of the 15th Mario Facca Memorial. Gallusi, the winner of the third group, preceded Giampaolo Basso in a Porsche 911 RS and Michele Massaro at the wheel of the BMW M3 E30.

Ben 55 i concorrenti al via con una bella varietà di auto da corsa, dalle piccole Mini Cooper S, Fiat Abarth e Giannini fino alle potenti Porsche 911 RS, BMW M3 E30 ed Osella PA-9-90. La vittoria è andata a Giuseppe Gallusi su Porsche 935 aggiudicandosi il 15° Memorial Mario Facca. Gallusi, vincitore del terzo raggruppamento, ha preceduto Giampaolo Basso su Porsche 911 RS e Michele Massaro al volante della BMW M3 E30.

Every car is great, the most impressive one is the little 1000tc @6:35. Who ever built and set up that one is a artisan of the greatest order, or possibly a wizard?

You're right; these little Abarths are fantastic, and in the period they raced, the 1960s were very successful: small, light but powerful, fast cars. The myth of Carlo Abarth, who over time also built splendid and victorious prototypes, began right here, in the development of the tiny Fiat 600 👍
