Hey man! I just now found and subscribed to your channel and I love it! And, being a big metal guy, I love the music as well! 🤘🏻 keep up the awesome shaves and videos man! 🪒
Hey Dan! Tks for subscribing! I hope you'll enjoy the type of videos I make. I'm not super analytical. I just give you my basic opinions without getting too carried away with data. Glad to hear you're a metalhead too!!! I'd happily play Metallica or Five Finger Death Punch in my videos too if copyright wasn't an issue. 🤘
@@danspencer9941 , I was lucky enough to go to Heavy Metal 2019 and saw Slayer on their farewell tour. I've got clips of it uploaded here. I hope I'll get the chance to see Metallica!!!
@@KalShaves That had to be an amazing experience seeing Slayer! I watched some videos on UA-cam of their last tour and they sounded so good! Gary Holt did a great job for them. I’m a huge Exodus fan, so, I knew he would! Metallica is great live! You won’t be disappointed when you get to see them! Hopefully this Covid stuff ends soon and we can all go see some awesome shows again! 🤘🏻
First! Looking forward to this ride! Edit: Great video! Love the comment intermission; very Monty Python-esque of you. That style of razor is, to me, too much of a compromise - not a great safety razor, and not a great shavette. I feel the same way about the Razorine. I do love it when people try to re-invent the wheel, though, and I give Razorine credit where credit is due.
Hey Aaron! Thanks for being first! Lol about my intermission. I don't know if it was a good idea but... The RazoRock Switch is definitely a different beast. I'd use it again without issue. I just wish I'd used a fresh blade for this video.
I've always wanted to try one of these! I'm a sucker for different and unique shaving stuff. It also looks more forgiving than a regular open blade shavette. I've cut myself so many times with those I've more or less given up on them. Great review!
Hey! Tks for watching! Yeah it seems very forgiving. I get cut up with shavettes too. Because the corners are enclosed, this one won't bite you the same way.
Hey Raul! Thanks for watching. I hope you found it entertaining & informative. And no worries. Yes I've used a Razorine but only once for a video. I like the RazoRock Switch all in all. Any issues I had with I discussed in this video. I'd like to see RazoRock come out with a heavier version of this razor too. As for shavettes, IMO they are a completely different beast. I've since done 3 videos using the Wilkinson Sword Straight Edge Razor. The first was very bloody. The subsequent vids went much better cuz my technique improved & I've become less fearful of shavettes. Also, don't think that shavettes are a stepping stone into straights. They are very different IMO. I've found straight razors to be much quicker to learn and are much more forgiving.
Have you tried the razorine? This one looks to be the one to try. And now I'm really tempted to try this one as it seems to be the good intro to shavettes or a bridge to shavettes..
Never used a razorine and just wondered, when you go from 'traditional' D.E pressure against the skin to razorine, is there a tendency to force the pressure or does it feel easier to get used to?
Hey Steve! I didn't find an issue with pressure. And I enjoyed the auditory feedback. As you can see, it took a bit too find the angle. It seemed quite steep to me but I enjoyed using it. I should have used a new blade for my video tho.
Love the videos pal, nothing like a sniff of the good stuff while you shave.
Hilariously small knot on that brush :)
Hey Rick! That whisky is really really good! Highly recommend it!
That knot! Hahahaha. Too big for me!
Great review and shave Ken! Have a great week and stay safe my brother!
Hey RIS! Hope you're doing well and staying safe and healthy!
@@KalShaves hey bro! I’m hanging in there! Stay safe as well bud!
Man that brush looks great for a head shave.
Hey Anthony! Tks for watching! Yeah I assume the RazoRock Hulk would be great for lathering your head. It's a 34mm.

Meaning the razor Rock switch for the price looks amazing..

Oops lol maybe I should watch the entire video before I ask questions.
This will be on my wish list.
Loving the audio feedback..

Not going to lie - that nut on the side looks like it would drive me crazy.
Hey Craig! It's a minor inconvenience. I think you'd get used to it very quickly.
