  • A visit to Oframase-Kwahu in the Eastern Region of Ghana where the major work of the women is moulding and selling of earthenware bowls. This is a way to keeping the culture of crafting the product alive.
They handcraft the artifact without the help of machines, from the start through to the final stage of the entire process. They have perfected the art so much that they know when and where to add or reduce the quantity of clay, how to mould the shapes and the duration the artifact is supposed to be in fire before it is finally ready. But unfortunately, these women earn less from their hardy work which affects their standard of living.
