Nile creek falls on Vancouver Island
Let start with were to park. I started the Nile Creek hike just off the island highway, there is parking for about four cars. The trail is easy to find, look for the gate and it’s right there. This is the short route if you’re looking for a longer hike you can catch the trail in Bowser from the old island highway. I found the hike to be easy, but if your balance is a little poor, you may have difficulties crossing on the log bridges. I did the hike during the fall which is the rainy season here on the island, so the trail was extremely muddy and the fallen trees help keep you out of the muddy area’s. As you travel along the trail, you will eventually come to several waterfalls, 5-10 depending on how far you go.
Great photo opportunities are there some are a little more difficult to get to, but with a little luck and perseverance I’m sure you will come away with awesome photos from the trip.
