Lecture - Apuntes: Themes and Variation | Secundino Hernández | 3/5/2020

Spanish painter Secundino Hernández’s (b. 1975) has exhibited worldwide: across continental Europe and from London to Helsinki, São Paulo to Shanghai. Through April, a recent painting by Hernández is installed with works from Meadows Museum’s permanent collection of modern painting. His untitled painting celebrates acts of making and unmaking and engages with the work of Spain’s old and modern masters. In this lecture, Secundino Hernández discusses his work and artistic process.
