As a 6900xt user and currently Kena player, real game clock is above 2500mhz easy 4k around 60fps

I don't know about other countries condition but buying a AMD GPU does make sense and is available even with some wating period but the overpriced rtx cards are again made more overpriced. Now many choose AMD even when rtx cards are in the store shelves. The more they compete the more we the gaming community benefits. This is really cool

I don't see a place for the RTX 4080 in the current market. Anyone who wants or can spend €1,600 will have no problem paying €200 more and buying the 4090, which does make a difference.
And within a month with AMD on the market with much lower prices, it will be even more difficult.

Can someone tell me, is there a huge difference between high and Ultra settings in 4K? Did you even recognize the different?
Varies between games. You’ll probably want to tweak some things to max(like model quality, textures, reflections) while keeping the rest on high. The difference in performance is big but the looks are very close. Everything on max usually wastes performance on things you won’t notice. I rather play on high-ultra hybrid at hood framerates than ultra with less frames.

4080 is being compared to the last gen equivalents. 3080 and 6900xt were the main competitors. As was the 3090 and 6950xt. So the video is doing a correct comparison.

AMD's RTX 4080 competitor RX 7900 XT will be released on December 13.
The RTX3090 cost the same as the RTX4080 now, with AMD costing 20% less than the 4080 two years ago.
I am happy I got the 3080 after release for like 1000€ and solt my old gpu for 350 so I actually paid 650 ;D now I am just curious what the new one can do and yes amazing results but dude 1500€? Never ever I would pay this.

Been a nvidia user for as long as I can remember, but from now I'm using only AMD products. Just got a 7950x processor from amd with a 6900xt amd graphics from asus. Never going back.

I Think if you dont need Raytracing, AMD is the better joice . I hope with new Drivers the RX 7000 Series going stronger. i actually use a 3060 Mobile (140watt) with a ryzen 5 5600h . Its good too for a small budget (1040€) i use it now 1,5 Years. My next GPU gonna be a AMD card🙂

You clearly know nothing about cost to performance ratios, or how much it costs to make these cards. It's not a good value but it would be financial suicide to sell this card at $800 considering it almost doubles the 3080.

What if they called it a 4090 and they called the current 4090 a Titan? It seems like people are getting hung up on the names and the expectations they think they have for those names rather than looking at the performance and the price.
If you want the performance of a 4080, what is currently your best bet? A 3090ti. How much are those selling for? About 1200+. The 4080 is between 5% to 15% faster (without DLSS 3, I believe).
Either you got the worst performing RTX3080, or these results are not off.... I've had all of these cards, and the 3080 should comfortably be hitting 1850mhz on the core, with slight tgp boost 1900-1950 is usually no problem. 4080 is a bit lower maybe, compared to the 2 I've seen so far, but its early days. 6900xt seems about right, but performance a little low? I don't know, I wish more people would post videos of their setups so we can see cooling/test benches.
Could it be because its maybe a 10 gb model instead of a 12 gb 3080
