Oooooohhhhhh......lovely! Perfect for a Saturday morning when you're planning an outfit/make up if you're off out tonight. I find when I tightline, as soon as I blink, it's all over waterline on bottom lid so I can't get a clean look like this, but I'm going to follow this tutorial and see how I get on. Your hair looks fab, Caroline , you can definitely see that the condition and thickness is there for all to see. Try the Sephora Waterproof retractable eyeliner. It stays put on the upper waterline 🙂
The Essence retractable stay put liners are fabulous for a no smudge long lasting look. Plus they’re only a few Euros
Hi Caroline. I love that contemporary look of minimal eyes with a bold lip. Yes. The weather is so dark and cold up in Scotland but putting on a colourful lip makes me feel so much happier. I'm off to see a movie with my oldest son later today so a reason to make an effort.

You have a nice thin face, you don't need highlighter along the jaw... I do that because I have a very round face and the lighter colour along the jaw helps slim and shape my face...then contour directly above it, helps give me 'cheekbones above that.
A cotton or Viscose tshirt is also great, it's gentle on the hair & you're doing your bit for the planet my upcycling, finding another use for a redundant clothes item!
When I tight line my eyes, it always transfers to my lower lash line. Maybe it’s the pencil being too soft? I have used Lisa Eldridge and Victoria Beckham.

Same and I used the same Rimmel liner. I don't think I'm a 'natural tightliner' as mine never looks like the lovely Caroline's, sadly!

HI Caroline - love that liquid eye liner smudging trick - never would have thought of that. Would be lovely to see what's possible on the liquid eye liner front for crinkly, very hooded, ageing eyes (me) and whether something decent is achievable or whether I must part a sad farewell to the notion of even a baby wing without looking like a hot mess/toddler that's found their mother's make up.

Hi Caroline! This was great! I realize now that Ive been doing my makeup all wrong when I wear a red lip! Ive been doing heavy eye makeup to go with it and always wondered why the hell it didnt seem quite right. Now I know!! I loved the tips with the eyeliner on the eyes as I have hooded eyes....this is going to look fabulous, I just need to buy a liquid liner now!! The other thing I found interesting is that you used a pink blush with a red lip. Ive always thought it was pink with pink. The end result you achieved looked really good so again, Ive learned something new and will be eager to whack this lot on soon. Thank you again Caroline for always teaching us new tips and tricks.
