Love seeing you play this game! I just really wish 343 would just give the game it's much needed content. Then I would love to jump back in. I mean I still do, but not that often anymore.

@@unpatitoRUexactly, these people have horrific taste in games if they think this game has amazing gameplay, it’s mediocre at best and the guns are very lackluster and lame, clearly these are new gen players who grew up in the BR era lol
@@Valkyrae123 lol the guns are lackluster and lame? They’re the same guns that have been in halo for years and some new ones… while I agree halo infinite is lacking in multiple areas, saying someone has horrific taste in gaming because they enjoy something you don’t is wack. I could say you have a horrific taste in TV and movies because you watch anime as well.
Same thing as too many recent games...it was unfinished from the start and post-launch support has been terrible. Campaign didn't have (and still doesnt as of this comment) co-op which was huge for the replayability of it. Multiplayer while fun, has mediocre maps and was plagued by bugs and the horrid battle pass system that made customization a second job instead of a reward for simply playing.
There needs to be a change of the senior leadership who screwed up MCC, 5, and Infinite. They should be demoted. And next time don’t make an engine that is near impossible to develop for. Who looked at the slip space engine they made and said “yeah, we did it. It’s the perfect engine for us to use”?
Right now yeah is in a nice place but when it released, I think it's gotta be the worst game launch of all time, like I think it was way worse than 2042, and they didn't bother to fix it until the PC version launched look for videos of it, there are a lot of them, especially the one called 343 VS the world.
343i wasn't ready to service a Live Service game. They had a messy development that resulted in much of the content being cut, and people who worked on the game back then leaving, leaving the new devs to make something of the scraps they left. It's unfortunate.
Halo been going downhill after bungie was removed from the franchise, reach was the last game to truly feel like a halo title in its designs NPC characterization, cinematography, and soundtracks. 343 has really struggled to muster the magic of the original trilogy, and hasn’t come anywhere close to the gritty storytelling of ODST or reach….
i'd argue Infinite is very reminiscent of the original Halo games. If it just had the content and a proper ranking system then imo would come very close to equaling H3
Bungie wasn't removed from the franchise, they wanted out. The problem with forever franchises is that they burn out the people that make them, so the quality declines over time.

From a casual/non-Halo fan perspective, I think another factor as well as lack of content in the game dying was the weird progression system. As someone who’s not already invested in Halo, I wasn’t going to play a game with some goofy system that made me do annoying challenges to progress rather than just playing how I felt and learning things at my own pace

Microsoft needs to reevaluate how it treats its flagship. That said ...I would love to see more of you playing this game 🙌
The progression system is leaves no real reason to play after completing all challenges. After completing the challenges, you get what…like 50xp/game, regardless of performance? Such an odd design choice. Make players want to play to *WIN*. Give 50% more xp for a win or something, I don’t know. Yes, I know the OG Halos didn’t really have progression, but whether we like it or not, progression is what keeps most people playing games nowadays.
The thing that caused all of this is 343 fear of mistakes 343 is spending so much time trying to make everything perfect and polished they failed to realize the massive problem of having to make people wait forever for something to happen
Halo had such a huge scale like you were fighting for something greater than yourself and I believe that was reflected in the multiplayer as well. It was a community where everyone brought a little piece to the whole experience with competitive gameplay, creative games and maps, and even machinima etc. Bungie’s community involvement and the communities (clans) built around their forums added so much more to the story that we all fell in love with. Microsoft/343 blurred the lines of what made Halo, Halo and attempted to turn it into some sort of cash grabbing cinematic universe. I think Halo Infinte was a step in the right direction, albeit having crappy staggered releases for core pieces to the game, I think it could still be something good if they keep at it and people keep playing.
My theory why they shy away from Coop and Split screen is because they are afraid that those features will take away most of attention away from battlepass multiplayer. There is no justifiable reason to monetize the coop or split screen.
The gameplay is perfect and what content that is here maps, modes, weapons, etc is excellent. We wont see this game see its true potential for probably another year or so.

Really really want good multiplayer FPS again, man, why is this so much to ask for
2042's most laughable problem is that the aiming still doesn't function properly. The fact that the most important fundamental aspect of an FPS doesn't function is mind blowing. The game will never recover for that reason.
Im doing a replay of the campaign and the writing is ATROCIOUS!!! I love everything about this game. everyone always says there's lack of content and stuff but idk I like it the way it is right now. new content would be cool but it doesn't bother me at all tbh. I would love to see you play this more
The game is fun and has good gameplay at its core. The lack of co-op and split screen co-op And lack of forge Is killing the community. The social aspect of the game.
I agree with you in a way, the game is tons of fun right now, period. But in this era of gaming, halo needs to compete with other games that consistently provide new content and experiences to the players. They just cant expect to keep a lively community active in the game if other games are always providing fresh content and halo just isn't. Its unfortunate but just how it is
Alright, too many people saying "whats the problem, the game is fun, people are being selfish" etc... I've been playing halo for 19 years. I agree, the core gameplay and mechanics of the game is fun. The problem with infinite is that it launched with literally 1/4 of the content that a halo game usually launches with. There is a huge lack of content and social features and the server issues are extremely present. Its too long to get into but if you bought a nice looking car only to find out that when you opened the door the inside is completely empty, you'd complain.
Halo Infinite is really fun, I like ranked and I'm excited for Forge. All we really need is that...the best "content" has always come from the community with Halo.
Halo is literally on the border between life and death, only a few people are staying back to see how infinite would go and I am one of them but I see why people are leaving due to the "road map". I hope there is more content, I just hope it gets better soon.

I love everything about this game. everyone always says there's lack of content and stuff but idk I like it the way it is right now. new content would be cool but it doesn't bother me at all tbh. I would love to see you play this more
The game is fun and has good gameplay at its core.
The lack of co-op and split screen co-op
And lack of forge
Is killing the community.
Its too long to get into but if you bought a nice looking car only to find out that when you opened the door the inside is completely empty, you'd complain.
i actually enjoyed it! Thanks
I still enjoy playing halo but it had so much potential just give us what we want not what they think we want
Gameplay is more important than anything else. This game has what 99% of games lack nowadays…good, fun game mechanics and gameplay.
The gameplay is decent at best
Play big team battle! Would be a blast watching you play that
They focused on the esports more than the social aspect of halo
When you realize who the studio behind it was... then you would see just how little potential it had from the start.
Halo Infinite is really fun, I like ranked and I'm excited for Forge. All we really need is that...the best "content" has always come from the community with Halo.
I swear they used an auto tuned cow mo as the shield recharge sound 😂🐮
Halo is literally on the border between life and death, only a few people are staying back to see how infinite would go and I am one of them but I see why people are leaving due to the "road map". I hope there is more content, I just hope it gets better soon.
Halo gameplay is so good
They tried to reinvent the wheel when they already had a formula for success .
343 Industries is what happened
