Thank you George, saw you live many times in the late 90'sand beyond in Vancouver you inspired thousands of Guitarists including me. Be well my friend.
George performed at the World Expo 1986 in Vancouver Canada. I was front row centre so we were able to talk back and forth. He was sensationally good. So confident and full of energy. He also sang impeccibly with a dead on Nat King Cole tune.
I've never had the honor of seeing him perform live but, he's been my biggest, musical, influence since I was a teen. What a privilege to see this master perform his art! I was listening to some of his old classics that led me here. Just as I was wondering if he was still performing. Fantastic.
I’m a guitar fan and I just realized Benson is one of my favs. I was a kid in DC area 70s and 80s. Gatton was the best player I ever saw live. Benson is so inspiring clean and precise with his style
@dwaynepierce1737 Never heard of Danny Gatton. Thanks for making it public. Gonna look on internet some time if he is on vid. Thanks. Roy b Cape town, south africa 🇿🇦
Absolutely beautiful Mr. Benson you still got it I have always loved to hear you play 🎸

the master. this song was at the top of the charts back in the day...when instrumentals were so good, they made the "pop" charts.....
Lovely sound still got Mr benson
I am so glad that George Benson is still going strong 😃😃😃😃😃.
You can tell he was considering taking off there for a sec. His fingers are slower but you can see him singing along. Simply marvelous and brilliant.
Wow, I was also at that concert in '86. It was great.
🙌🏾🙌🏾
The legendary George Benson still got the skills to pay the 🎸🎶 good footage cameraman 👍🏾
Thank you brother!

Sounds sort of familiar 🤔
What a talent he was.
와 대단하네 저 나이에

George must think he's in church putting the drummer in a cage like that.
I think it was more for the acoustics as it’d drown out the percussionist
Sound guy's idea probably.
