●What is Vtuber?
Vtuber is an online entertainer who uses a virtual avatar generated using computer graphics. A growing trend that originated in Japan in the mid-2010s, a majority of VTubers are Japanese-speaking UA-camrs or live streamers who use anime-inspired avatar designs. By 2020, there were more than 10,000 active VTubers.
●What is Holo Production
Hololive Production is a virtual UA-camr (VTuber) talent agency owned by Japanese company Cover Corp. and formed in December 2019.Between all its branches, the agency currently manages a total of 52 active VTuber talents, with notable talents including Gawr Gura, Inugami Korone, Shirakami Fubuki, Usada Pekora, and Mori Calliope.
Initially, the name Hololive was used for Cover's 3D stream distribution app, and later its female VTuber agency. In December 2019, Hololive was combined with the male Holostars agency and INoNaKa (INNK) Music label to form a single brand named "Hololive Production". It do be like that most times. At least in Astel's case he confessed and wasn't rejected, unlike my experience. It was just too bad that they weren't able to be together. Well lets just say that fate moves in strange ways and that if they did get together we may have not arrived at the point where we can watch Astel here streaming, screaming, singing and making us happy whenever he's on.

I feel so bad for him! In a way, it's almost worse than being rejected. At least if he was rejected, he might be able to move on, and say "well,, at least I took my chance," but knowing that it COULD'VE worked is a kiss of death.
at least he got to confess his feelings and it was mutual. I never got to confess mine to someone i liked for almost a decade and i still regretted it to this day ; _ ;
I hope Astel won't hesitate again the moment he found someone he TRULY love from the bottom of his heart. It is better to do it (although might get rejected), rather than hesitate to find out later that it could have worked out and regret it.

Damn, this really touched my heart. I've been always the one on the receiving end about love and always reject confessions because I'm scared that the other party might be disappointed in me. But after listening to this it motivates me a little bit to learn about the other party's feelings.

Thanks for translating this. We know our Astel as a random, playful person (alien) who does things his way most of the time. So listening to (and understanding) his bittersweet real life experience is something Astellas really need to get a more fleshed out and deeper understanding of our PBB, the man behind the alien persona.
It's probably why I prefer him so much over the other boys. I mean, I love the others too, but Astel just hit different. There's a certain sensitivity and vulnerability behind his bubbly chaotic energy that touched my maternal instinct. Astel is uWu~~

I have a similar story from Middle School. There was this girl I was best friends with in the 5th grade so I got feelings for her, but when we moved to middle school I rarely ever talked to her. I honestly thought she kind of just forgot about me as I never talked to her but in 7th grade her friends kept coming up to me and telling me she likes me. I had serious self-doubt and so I never made a step to talk to her and thus we never went out or anything. Now I am in my senior year of High School and about to head off to Uni and I haven't talked to her in years, I wonder how different it would have been if I did.

For me, who was such an introvert the entire school (from the middle school grades to the high school grades) knew me as the "silent kid", I had been in 5 relationships before graduating.
A kid who never talked ended up in 5 different relationships in school. Let that sink in.

What was odd was realizing that people who spoke more than I did, who laughed and talked more than I did, who smiled more than I did (I was known for never changing my expression), who went to clubs, went to athletic meets or chess meets or D&D games or even played video games with others... these people never had a relationship once.
"How could that be?" I always wondered... If you care about someone enough, wouldn't you try to reach out to them, even just a little? If you're so shy you can't even speak a word, wouldn't you just try to be stupid enough to send a written note? Or do an act of kindness for them?
