How to fix the My Pet Pat episode. The conflict feels disconnected from the rest of the episode. The respect camp doesn't add anything. Squidward should just be rude to him at the begining. If they wanted Patrick to be mistaken for a pet he should have just worn a snail costume for halloween then get kidnapped because he is still in the pet costume. Then Patrick should not want to come home because Squidward is mean and lives next to him. Spongebob can not tell the family that adopted him that Patrick is a "person" becuase Patrick could be mistaken for a home invader then thrown in jail. Then Spongebob should manage to bring Patrick home and actually get Squidward to apologize. The old family is happy because Spongebob replaced Patrick with a snail and they can't tell the difference, Then It also should have been 11 minutes.
