To celebrate today's release of Kaskade's Collab model, we partnered with Kaskade and SoundCloud to launch the first-ever Human + AI + You songwriting challenge. A truly unique concept combining the brilliance of Kaskade's legendary sound, the power of Soundful's human-trained AI model with your amazing creative skills. We call it Human + Machine, and this is the Kaskade Edition.
Why do a competition?
The influx of AI tools bombarding all creatives is overwhelming and most still have mixed feelings about its value. We wanted to confront that stigma head-on and give everyone who is interested access to the model to try it themselves. We hope that you will come away with a new appreciation of how AI can enhance your workflow. And, we have an amazing prize package for the winners, including a co-release with Kaskade on his label Arkade. What's stopping you?
How is this different?
The competition itself represents a significant departure from the standard remix or producer-focused contests. Instead, we wanted to focus on a hybrid concept where each participant starts with a track generated using Soundful's AI's powerful Kaskade model. Once happy with the creation, participants then download the session in stems to add a vocal topline or push even more energy into the track making it an undeniable dancefloor hit.
