Bought a Graphiteleader Finezza Prototype a few hours ago. Tested it right away with a vanford. This rods are just amazing cant even describe the difference to my other ones.
Nice Vid. I laced my 2023 vanquish 1000 with varivas ajing master ester red eye 2.3 lbs and paired with the Eradicator 67 sul due to the red color. I love the color scheme of it. Great vids Vic.

Dobre be,after your clips is true that reel manufacturers are creating reel spools in sound recording studios so every new one will sound better and better! The ultralight high ends are playing music to our ears!🎉 Keep hammering and reviewing, greetings from London!
well... lately more and more people make comments if the drag sounds nice. Just read the comments on my other videos... But other youtubers now make comments about that too.. If people want it, manufacturers will pay attention
Thanks for all the cast, catches and time that you put in for this video! Nice hearing the drag on your new Vanquish! How did the line flow off the spool with the new InfinityXross? Just put some Jbraid grand 8lb with 4lb invisX on my C2500S. Haven’t took it out yet, but glad you had a great outing!
Yet another great video I went fishing this morning nothing but 6 in. blue gill and one 26 in. jack aka pike on 2 lb line and a 1 in . slider . And that drag sounds great!!!!!
I got Smimano Vanquish C3000xq with my 10ft medium action Shimano Exsense Infinity. I went fishing last week for stripper and caught a couple of 5 to 10lbs fishes. All I can say is WOW, very light, very sensitive. My next rod would be either the yamaga or luminas for my 1-2oz pencil popper. like your combo.😂
My current and dream set up now is the Shimano Soare XR 5'4SUL, 19 Vanquish 1000ssspg with Varivas Avani saltwater finesse 0.2 braid with Varivas titanium coated flurocarbon leader 3lb with shimano kakegami jig heads. Amazing. I also have the XR 4'8UL rod which has a VERY thin blank from the handle and acts like a tubular tip rod, even very thin compared to the 5'4SUL. I aji fish here in Australia and the 5'4 is more suitable for that but the XR's are an amazing rod! Id love for you to review a Shimano X-tune rod, they are just soo expensive. If you ever do saltwater finesse fishing, its a conbination you should try.
Its not that they are too expensive, i just think its the same rod as the soare xr and there is no point. I have a subscriber who wants to send it to me for review but he already confirmed ots kind of the same and i dont want to waste time with it. There is so many other rods..

Ha! Thats funny! When i fished for carp i used to say exact same thing about bass! Whats the point of foshing all fay for a couple of two pound fish.. 🤣
Great video Vic! I received my 2 new Vanquish's C2000S and C2000SHG a. couple weeks ago. The first thing I noticed with the new Vanquish is the inertia is not as low as the 19' . That was kind of a bummer. I don't know if it's the new gearing or grease. On the plus side, the line management and casting distance is impeccable. I had No line twist's with spinners and spoons. It's as smooth as the 19' Vanquish but not as smooth as the Stella but the Vanquish C2000SHG is going to replace my 22' Stella for shear weight alone. 6.1 oz. vs. 5.1 for the Vanquish. The C2000S is definitely going to be my new Trout/panfish reel. With that being said, if you already own the 19' version of either of the Vanquish's, I personally wouldn't pay $425. for the new one.
but the line lay on Vanquish 19 was already impeccable. I think the line lay of my Vanford is already impeccable. U can't tell without careful examination the difference in line lay. U can tell right away the difference with Daiwa though, but not with other shimano reels.
@@philipfalco7304 All reels come with shims, including the new Vanquish and the new Stella. In reality on these made-in-japan reels it is extremely rare to have to add shims, and to have not one but two Vanquish19 reels that need shimming is just as likely as you winning the lottery. I don't believe that. But don't protest because that doesn't matter. It is assumed that the reel is shimmed properly. Any Vanford, forget about Vanquish, that is shimmed properly, has already 100% flat line lay. Yes, the new Vanquish can fit more coils on one row, and i like that, but every Shimano reel with oscillation worm has had perfect line lay for 5 years already.
@@ifishcatfish Well I guess I hit the lottery Vic. I have no reason to lie and I love all 5 of my 19' Vanquish's. You obviously had no problem with the line lay. I have. This is not an argument. 2 out of five ain't bad and it was no big deal. I put 1 thin shim in my c2000SHG and 1 thick in my c2500SHG and they've been perfect ever since.
you should feel lucky then! I own two vanquish19, three Vanfords, two Soare XR, one Complex XR, 1 Twinpower, 1 Ultegra and none of them needed shimming. I haven't shimmed a reel in years. I'm surprised they still put those shims in the box.
After watching this video ill just keep fishing my Stella fk 1000sspg and holdoff until the new Exist 1000sf (which i hope u do a review on ) tight lines and i hope to see that drag scream on a random 4lb bass 😂
Hello, I would like you to recommend a reel for a chili rod up to 5g, I have seen many videos of yours and I see that the vanquish is an excellent reel, but it does not reach that price range, vanford either speaks very well or very badly, Airity convinces me but I don't know how it is for ultra light fishing. Greetings from Spain and excellent videos
I am now sure that I will get this reel😍 Exist SF is super expensive, I guess that reel will be Vanquish competition, but the price is the deal breaker for some,
I was looking at the Exist SF but it's price is $716 bucks. That reel better do the dishes and mow the lawn for that price. I'm sure it will be a great UL reel but I just purchased two Vanquish's for $840.
haven't heard of that, but steez has always been a bass line of products, no? I doubt it will have very low resistance. I am waiting for another presso reel, that will be called Presso Limited - just like the 2017 was called Presso Limited and was a king until Vanquish, and maybe even after vanquish.. Presso is their trout line and thats where they will release a reel without magseal at all.
@@ifishcatfish thanks for all the replies today. You are the king of ultralight! Last question for the moment. Should I get the jdm ssspg Stella 1k or the US regular 1k

not my thing. I hate solid tip rods, i HATE them. The only reason i bought this is it said HARD solid tip, and i thought it would perform more like tubular. But it doesn't.
On the 7th day, God created the Corto and Vanquish combination
It is nice to see someone who enjoys their hobby, as much as you do. Keep up the videos, I look forward to them.

if you cast 5 grams all day, perhaps 2500 reel for you. If you buy 2500, Vanford is almost always perfect. Only the 1000 sizes have these problems.

i put the whole spool. Fits perfect! But again, on these matters consult manufacturer, or you will never get it right.
