Hello again my dearest children! This installment of my shenanigans is something a little different- learning bug taxidermy! I have collected butterflies for a few years now and I felt the desire to add to my collection with my own two hands. I bought folded preserved butterflies and got to work on the rest from scratch!
In this video I:
~Rehydrate the Butterflies
~Make the spreading boards for pinning
~Pin the butterflies
~Make the frames from lumber
~Cut the glass
~Paint, Varnish, and add anchors to the frames
~Mount and label the butterflies
~And finally, hang them with the rest!
