this may not seem like much to other people but as an 16 year black person who has experienced racism as a child it’s melts my heart to see layla playing with a black baby doll! it’s just so good to see genuinely kind people raising there kids to be kind🤍🤍!

Kayli, please make a video on your parenting style. I love how calm and collected your kids always are. They are so friendly and compationate with each other. They live a super fortunate life and yet they are not spoiled or demanding. They are thankful for little things. Great parenting on your side. Please share your tips. How you deal with their mood swings, tantrums, or even fights. I have 3 kids under the age of 5. Overall Im happy with their behaviour and attitudes, but would still love to learn more from other moms. Like how to ask or say something 1 time so they would do it.

I remember one year when Winston was a baby, and Brailee bought Winston a Christmas present and I think if I remember correctly it was a baby grow and I thought that was so sweet. She was only a kid herself too but bought presents for her family. Kayli’s kids are very thoughtful and it’s lovely.
The pressed flower was so lovely and thoughtful. I have a pressed flower of my best friend who sadly passed away the end of January this year and I love the thought of having it hanging up in my bedroom. Gage really loved his bike and just watching Winston & Layla’s faces was amazing. You all looked like you had an amazing family Christmas, I hope it was a nice one for you all. Kayli, You have done such a wonderful job raising your beautiful children. Its not easy giving each one the kind of attention they require and adjusting to their ages. They are grateful and humble and more than anything so grateful.
I completely understand the stress of the holidays but before you know it the kids will be grown and out of the house so the fact that you are cognizant of that will make you appreciate it and them even more. This was the first year I was without my boys and it was really difficult. Sending you all my love. Happy New year!! 💗

I think... or I hope that next year’s Christmas will be even better. That 2020 vindicates itself by having served itself as a reset for our priorities and having made us develop a deeper appreciation for what we do have and that it helped us understand that we need very little to truly be happy.
My favorite part of the holidays this year was seeing my daughter learn how to ride her new scooter! Seeing her hit that big milestone is such a blessing!

My favorite gifts this year were a pillow that my daughter made for me (she picked out all the fabric and cut it into squares and then sewed them together with a pretty backing- she is 12!) as well as some art print stickers from my favorite tattoo artist. Merry Christmas! ❤️

For two weeks I had been in such a bad and sad mood I was not looking forward to Christmas Day at all but on Christmas I felt so much love and joy it made up for all the bad days leading to it ❤️❤️ this Christmas wasn’t spent with all our families like usual but I was extra grateful this year to just be happy and healthy Merry Christmas to your family!
Due to covid I wasn't able to stay at either of my parents houses. They live an hour and a half a way from each other and then another hour and a half from myself. So I spent the day driving and saying hi (outside) to them both. It was different and strange, but as I usually spend Christmas day with just one of them (alternating each year)... It was nice I got to see BOTH of them on the same day. It was a good silver lining. 😊
