I am chanting along with a YouRube recording as I don’t know Sanskrit. I hope its still effective . I grew up in the United States and unfortunately don’t speak fluently. I have Kaal Sarpa dosha as well.
I always say Bhakti is the first thing - it's ok you dont know sanskrit. Your intent is your Bhakti towards Matha. Our vedas are learnt by listening because only then you will know how to pronounce. So listening and chanting along is perfect. When you invoke , you have to offer naivedyam. When you invite some one home, you will offer something to them, similarly we follow the same principle. Not only that, the naivedyam that you offer is for your good, it will become Prasadam and when you consume the divine intention and energy will stay for a longer time in your body. hope this clarifies

It's good to know that you are chanting Lalitha Sahasranamam. If for some reason you are not able to chant on certain days - it's ok. There will not be any negative effect. Lalithambigai knows - Your intent is important.
