There is a reason why Soyou's collabs are always so successful. It isn't a coincidence. She isn't so popular either does she have a big fanbase, this much means that people likes the songs. Why? That's because her voice is very unique. It is soft and flirty but it's not so powerful that takes over the other person. Her voice is also really girly so based on the emotion she puts in she could sound like a girl in love as well as a girl that broke up. Her collabs are successful for a reason.

Its not that Breath by Taeyeon and Jonghyun is a bad song, but normal people just prefer listening to a cheerful song like Some. Breath is kinda sad since it talks about breakup and it makes you depressed after listening to it, but Some sounds cheerful and really improves your mood after listening, which is why Some is loved so much by everyone.
Ying Zhenjia That has nothing to do with it sorry haha Gone not around any longer by SISTAR19 is one of the saddest song ever by an idol and they were arguably the most successful song of 2013. No excuse :
