Haven’t ridden a bmx bike since I was 15ish, I’m 26 now. Just purchased a 22 soundwave and can’t wait for it to arrive. Really want to get into riding. This brings some motivation for sure!🤘🏽

That’s almost the colour of my ‘99 Haro Supra, which I still have. Albeit with a load of Gusset and WeThePeople parts on it. The tyres are Gusset Pimp.

That cracking noise while pedaling!
I feel it 100% i rebuild my old BMX after 5, 7, 9, 10 years.
- Bigger Bars
- new Seat and Post….
Really similar what u did and the Chain and Than i was so Angry about the cracking noise never had any sounds on every bike…. 🥺
So i worked on the driver with a dremel to bring the tooths back in Shape Works Fine!
I swapped the Front sprocket to a bigger one for better feeling.
Now iam back on the Bike!
After few rides i tried a freecoaster and i love it…. silience❤️

I would always BMX when I was a teenager sold my last BMX bike when I was about 18 now I’m 21 and definitely going to buy another BMX but this time I want to build a complete custom BMX like how I would see the pros do it on you tube
One can tell that a bmx is old/mid-school when it has macneil seatpost and that primo powerbite/hollowbite cranks.
I miss thinkering with a bmx.

I'm surprised with all you put into the bikes you didn't relace the rear wheel. Or service the bottom bracket (if it's not sealed bearings). But still great video and great refresh of the bike!
Thanks! The bottom bracket is sealed but I did actually end up replacing it just after filming the video👍
