    Hello sir, we have almost the same valve except class is 600# with Nd9000 pneumatic actuator. The flow is biphasic, so there are vibrations on the level control valve. The lower bearing was damaged several times. I think this is because the actuator load is greater on one side and the stem is tilted and the result is that the valve is stuck and cannot turn. Can we use the roller bearing instead of the bearing so as not to block the valve?

      Thank you very much for the comment. It’s hard to say but there could be a few things as to the exact cause of the issue. Without removing the valve from the line and investigating you won’t know the exact cause.
      If the valve is not opening or closing and you can’t remove it from the line. You can consider removing the actuator only and applying a gear box.
      Not sure if this answers your question. Good luck with your project. Thanks for watching.

    Sir, I want to convert from fail safe open to fail safe colse, please advise how can I do it

      Thanks for the comment. Without knowing all of the details on the actuator. If similar to the set up in the video. You can adjust by rotating the stem bushing in the actuator. So pretty much setting it up the opposite way. It will require disassembly and more fine details but it is doable. Good luck with your project. Thanks you for watching.

      @@nageshbaghel3239 thank you for the comment. You are correct I did not specify the exact time it takes to open this valve. Since we were working with 100psi shop air it took about 60 seconds to open and close. The timing can vary depending on how quick you wanted to open the valve. you can adjust it by increasing your input air psi or putting on a larger actuator. I hope this helps.

      How do we configure this valve to be used as Fail open?

    • @everythingvalves
      @everythingvalves  2 роки тому

      @@sampatel6406 that can be a tricky question depending on how you look at it. There are many different ways to make it work. Based on the valve in the video which is fail closed. To make it fail open. You would mount the actuator onto the valve with the valve in the open position. That way when you pressure up and operate the actuator it will close the valve. When the pressure is removed from the actuator it will automatically open the valve.
      What gets tricky is the supply pressure set up, current application, and all the little details in getting everything set up. That’s getting more into the actuation side of things
      I hope this helped. Thanks for watching and for the comment.
