I guess irish and danish christmases arent so diffrent.
I had one Christmas like that.
We were all stuck together in a tiny house out in the country. for 2 full days, instead of the usual 5 hours.
3 siblings, 1 mom, 1 moms "new" boyfriend/husband, 1 pair of grand parents.
it was an absolute disaster.
Everybody was in fight with everyone else atleast once, me and my brother just bailed at one point, got the keys to one of the cars, and just drove off, and tried to spend as much time as we could away from the rest of them.....
Us siblings were in our 20's......

As someone who doesn't drink myself, the Irish Intervention was interesting. I love that I can still enjoy it for the irony, and that bit where Hog shattered everyone else's character in one fell swoop was hilarious.
'One man play' is just insanely beautiful
Saw that one live in Vicar Street. Arms ad libbing "He's the one who's slept with half the cast" as a retort to Hog's torrent of verbal abuse was perfect :p

I still remember when I was still a freshman at university, studying English, and one of the way I practise was to watch videos of you guys. I even asked you about some phrases in them and you did reply me. Thank you and always proud to be a fan.
I really think that this year might've had some of your strongest sketches, period (not that your previous years weren't also strong, you guys have been hilarious from the start). Definitely looking forward to 2020.

A very Irish Christmas is hilarious. Loved "mom"s line: I hope you liked the turkey, I 've had it in the slow cooker since March; "US IMMIGRATION" was funny but "Irish Intervention" is absolutely HILARIOUS!! BUT the sketch: "Irish People Who Can't Speak Irish" is what got me hooked and made me an instant subscriber and hit alert button. Love you guys.
I love the Irish police man who doesn't speak Gaelic!! Gosh i was laughing so hard. Great job lads!

I have so many favourite sketches. Off the top of my head, lads graduation ceremony, heartbreak emergency room, how to stop worrying...not just funny but very clever and original. Amazing scripts. The next level. Thank you for brightening my life!!!
Everything with Oisín and his mom (and Barry), every as Gaeilge sketch and I also liked the driving lessons with the devastated instructor. One of my favorite characters though is Conor playing this horrible, I mean lovely old lady. But there are so many other jokes to mention: Irish accents, the heart break and the broken cellphone in the hospital (epic), the human cellphone, gaelic flirt (I was in tears after this one). I'm sure I forgot really cool, anyways Merry Christmas and a happy new year and thanks again for coming to Berlin! (this was lovely)
I also love the Gaeilge sketches, the cellphone and heartbreak in hospital ones and LOVED Gaelic Flurt. That one is both genuinely romantic and just totally ridiculous at the same time. That might be the one I rewatch the most of my faves (and there are so many).
Yes! The Driving Instructor videos are some of my absolute favourites
'Risk' and 'An Irish Intervention' always leave me in stitches- also love Oisin, Anne Flannigan, and Barry sketches xD Great stuff, lads

Last minute holiday panic, learning how to drive with your parent, the Ryanair song and regional accent discrimination are some of my favourites.

This is my UNprofessional opinion, but my three favorite videos are: An Englishman playing Risk, Teaching computers to parents and an Irish intervention (my brothers love that one as well)! Hopefully I can bring them to the next liveshow if you ever come back to The Netherlands!
And lads, you've seriously turned 2019 around for me. what started as a shitty year ended in a good year for me and I have you guys to thank for that. With your videos and liveshows you showed me to not take life to seriously and to enjoy the ride.

@@DickvanSoest they ve been in Berlin last month. I think the audience was 50:50 (german:english speaking). So they promised to speak slowly, so that the 2 hours Show will be a 5 hours show. (Still waiting in the theatre for the last three hours to come 😉. Where are you , Foil Arms and Hog?). Everyone in the audience had a really Great Time. So a non-english speaking Country shouldnt be a Problem.

I really love the one with 'Hospital chef', 'Staying for the credits' and 'When parents have visitors'. I love all of them but this 3 man... I just can't get enough.
By far and away my favourite was "Remembering the Heros" the Easter Rising remembrance sketch. I had tears running down my face at that one!

The birth of Ann Flanagan and Oisin came about from equipment being locked up in Arms house!! Well that just ruined my image of the 3 of ye living together having the absolute craic 24 hrs of the day....please tell me ye have sleep overs at least 😭😭😭
I also always thought they lived in the same house lol. But then again, seeing the same people 24/7 AND going to the same office to work together all the time might make them really bored of each other

You see, here in ‘Murica, a lot of comedy is rude/crude/lewd. You three are showing us that comedy can be extremely funny yet intelligent and clean and fresh and thought provoking and global.

Studying for the Irish exam... watched it over and over. But where, oh where is the first one I ever saw? It was all in Irish.. the fellow talking to the barman, who eventually managed to say he'd murdered the man's sister.. and he said 'sea' too often.. I was so surprised your next one was in English. Best live sketch, equal to "Who's on First", was the One-Man Show. Thank you for all!!

Because you've had a couple of months now to learn Irish, apparently you shouldn't need the subtitles anymore.
My top one is regional accent discrimination. "I'm no aggressive, I'm an aromatherapist", that'll probably end up as my ringtone one day. I also loved the monks song and everything with Oisin. Oh and Brexit! It's about what's best for me- the family! :D :D

Impression of the American in the Risk sketch is absolutely spot on of their mentality 😂. Totally agree with Arms on the Every Irish Christmas sketch. One of my absolute favourites. “It’s not a bit dry is it? NOOOO!” 😂 Spot on Foil with the Dad being one of the best characters. 😂 Love Arms as the young child n all and the voice 😂 “swap wha’?” 😂

Songs For the Elderly was suggested by UA-cam to me a year or so ago, and to this day is my favourite.
I even got the pleasure to see you live earlier this year in Sydney (and my dad got pulled up on stage 😂) and was so happy you guys did it live.
The first one I saw is still my favourite: "In The Interest of Balance".
Risk brought me. Been a devoted fan ever since. Have watched virtually all of your back catalogue. Almost all of your Top 10 would have made my list. But I have to give props to a series of videos. While I love Arms like a son, the “Driving Instructor” series brings me to helpless, gasping tears of laughter. Every. Single. Time. Just genius.

Is it sad that when the "Irish people that can't speak Irish" sketch came on, there was so subtitles for me for whatever reason, and I was impressed with myself that I could actually understand what they were saying? 😭😭🤣🤣
The paper hats live video is my favorite. Such a great way to change between characters, the story was great and the end had me in stitches.

I LOVED watching your live show in Chicago back in October! My particular favorite videos typically involve singing - Ryanair, The Monks Song, and Songs for the Elderly! My absolute favorites also include: How to Destroy a Family, An Englishman Plays Risk, and Hospital Chef (all of which had me in complete stitches). I’m so glad you included An Irish Intervention!! It was one of the first sketches of yours I watched when I discovered you in 2017 and I just fell in love with your onstage group dynamic and improv skills; you guys are 3 of my biggest heroes as an aspiring comedy writer/performer (I hadn’t even considered wanting to write sketches and because of you 3, I’ve approached narrative writing in a whole new way) and the last 2 years of keeping up with your videos and coming to your gigs have been phenomenal. You guys always come across as so genuine and nice and know exactly how to put an audience at ease, and I also adore that you make time to say hi to us all after every gig, as it’s made my experience as a fan that little bit more personal (I’m still awestruck you managed to remember me at my second gig when there’d literally been nearly a year between that and my first!). If I could achieve a tenth of what you guys have I’d die happy, and I really hope you all know just how wide-reaching your impact is. Have a lovely new year and I cannot wait to see you at my second round of Swines in February 💕💕

The first one I watched was "Watching TV with yr parents" but my top 3 are : The irish intervention, Paper hats and the oisin and mum ones cuz it always reminds me of my mum especially the shower one. And also the Brexit divorce and + the ones where countries were coffees

Fell asleep last night - long day of travelling - copped it was Ann and Oisin with the computer teaching after saying Arms was off on holiday haha. Absolutely feckin brilliant sketch and the fact it had to be done on webcam only made it that much more authentic instead of on a proper recording camera. Absolutely brilliant. Unbelievably accurate as well, like to a T. 😂
