Saw that one live in Vicar Street. Arms ad libbing "He's the one who's slept with half the cast" as a retort to Hog's torrent of verbal abuse was perfect :p
As someone who doesn't drink myself, the Irish Intervention was interesting. I love that I can still enjoy it for the irony, and that bit where Hog shattered everyone else's character in one fell swoop was hilarious.
I had one Christmas like that. We were all stuck together in a tiny house out in the country. for 2 full days, instead of the usual 5 hours. 3 siblings, 1 mom, 1 moms "new" boyfriend/husband, 1 pair of grand parents. it was an absolute disaster. Everybody was in fight with everyone else atleast once, me and my brother just bailed at one point, got the keys to one of the cars, and just drove off, and tried to spend as much time as we could away from the rest of them..... Us siblings were in our 20's......
I loved 3 Drunken monks..... Absolute favorite... Hog singing sorry in that video is brilliant. You all sang well. And I loved all the Osin and Anne Flanagan videos.
I still remember when I was still a freshman at university, studying English, and one of the way I practise was to watch videos of you guys. I even asked you about some phrases in them and you did reply me. Thank you and always proud to be a fan.
I really think that this year might've had some of your strongest sketches, period (not that your previous years weren't also strong, you guys have been hilarious from the start). Definitely looking forward to 2020.
I have so many favourite sketches. Off the top of my head, lads graduation ceremony, heartbreak emergency room, how to stop worrying...not just funny but very clever and original. Amazing scripts. The next level. Thank you for brightening my life!!!
Everything with Oisín and his mom (and Barry), every as Gaeilge sketch and I also liked the driving lessons with the devastated instructor. One of my favorite characters though is Conor playing this horrible, I mean lovely old lady. But there are so many other jokes to mention: Irish accents, the heart break and the broken cellphone in the hospital (epic), the human cellphone, gaelic flirt (I was in tears after this one). I'm sure I forgot really cool, anyways Merry Christmas and a happy new year and thanks again for coming to Berlin! (this was lovely)
I also love the Gaeilge sketches, the cellphone and heartbreak in hospital ones and LOVED Gaelic Flurt. That one is both genuinely romantic and just totally ridiculous at the same time. That might be the one I rewatch the most of my faves (and there are so many).
A very Irish Christmas is hilarious. Loved "mom"s line: I hope you liked the turkey, I 've had it in the slow cooker since March; "US IMMIGRATION" was funny but "Irish Intervention" is absolutely HILARIOUS!! BUT the sketch: "Irish People Who Can't Speak Irish" is what got me hooked and made me an instant subscriber and hit alert button. Love you guys.
My favorite by far was the Paper Bag Hats LIVE. I showed it to all my friends and forced them to watch it and I got a great laugh every time. Thanks for a great year, wish I found you guys sooner :)
This is my UNprofessional opinion, but my three favorite videos are: An Englishman playing Risk, Teaching computers to parents and an Irish intervention (my brothers love that one as well)! Hopefully I can bring them to the next liveshow if you ever come back to The Netherlands! And lads, you've seriously turned 2019 around for me. what started as a shitty year ended in a good year for me and I have you guys to thank for that. With your videos and liveshows you showed me to not take life to seriously and to enjoy the ride. Thank you guys! Hopefully your success will grow even more in 2020!
Was just scrolling thorugh your videos and realised I forgot a few... Love the sandcastle competition, paper bags sketch and the driving instructor ones as well!
Yes, definitively come to the Netherlands! Don't be concerned about the show being in English, we can understand you. Have you ever done a show in a non-English speaking country?
@@DickvanSoest they ve been in Berlin last month. I think the audience was 50:50 (german:english speaking). So they promised to speak slowly, so that the 2 hours Show will be a 5 hours show. (Still waiting in the theatre for the last three hours to come 😉. Where are you , Foil Arms and Hog?). Everyone in the audience had a really Great Time. So a non-english speaking Country shouldnt be a Problem.
Irish Farmer vs Universal Music, Paper Bag Hats, An Irish Intervention. But they have ALL made me laugh! Will have to get myself to one of your live shows in 2020. Glædelig Jul & Godt Nytår 😘
As my Christmas greeting, I shared your video of the Russians capturing Santa Claus to EVERYONE in my phone contact list. Everyone thanked me. The feedback was overwhelming positive (“different” “funny” “wow”) You see, here in ‘Murica, a lot of comedy is rude/crude/lewd. You three are showing us that comedy can be extremely funny yet intelligent and clean and fresh and thought provoking and global. A hard job, but you guys do it excellently. Here’s to decades more of FAH!
Yay!!! I love Thursdays because of you lads. Happy Christmas! I got your USB of all your shows for Christmas! I spent most of Christmas watching them 😂. Thanks for the laughs. My favorite sketchs are the tea intervention sketch, all of the Anne and Oisín sketches, and the if coffees were countries. ".. it's served in a smug" " Do you mean mug?", "No". Gets me every time!. Happy Christmas!
Last minute holiday panic, learning how to drive with your parent, the Ryanair song and regional accent discrimination are some of my favourites. Also, I think this is the first time I have clicked on a 34 minute video knowing I will defo watch all of it
Songs For the Elderly was suggested by UA-cam to me a year or so ago, and to this day is my favourite. I even got the pleasure to see you live earlier this year in Sydney (and my dad got pulled up on stage 😂) and was so happy you guys did it live.
My top 5 are - 1. If diseases were people 2. When oisin and his mum go shopping for clothes together 3. When Irish people can't speak Irish 4. The sensodyne commercial parody 5. Irish school admissions
Like the Game of Risk sketch the most. That "有一个可以说汉语的人看着我们的录像吗" (Are there any Chinese-speaking folks watching this clip?) is the icing on the cake. 🤣 Well done!
I really love the one with 'Hospital chef', 'Staying for the credits' and 'When parents have visitors'. I love all of them but this 3 man... I just can't get enough.
I LOVED watching your live show in Chicago back in October! My particular favorite videos typically involve singing - Ryanair, The Monks Song, and Songs for the Elderly! My absolute favorites also include: How to Destroy a Family, An Englishman Plays Risk, and Hospital Chef (all of which had me in complete stitches). The Risk one also made into a subscriber - can't wait to watch more of your videos! :D
Risk brought me. Been a devoted fan ever since. Have watched virtually all of your back catalogue. Almost all of your Top 10 would have made my list. But I have to give props to a series of videos. While I love Arms like a son, the “Driving Instructor” series brings me to helpless, gasping tears of laughter. Every. Single. Time. Just genius.
the one about the brexit and the difference between the uk, great britain, etc was shown in my English class in 10th grade I think, so about 3 years ago, if I remember correctly your sketch was referenced in that book, that's the first time i heard of you guys, just thought you would like to know that you were referenced in a foreign country's school book, big fan

One of my all-time favorites is "Kidnap Victims Return Home" - that made me laugh so so much 😂 Also really love the Ryan Air song and the driving instructor... The more I think about it the more brilliant sketches I remember. You guys never disappoint!
Fell asleep last night - long day of travelling - copped it was Ann and Oisin with the computer teaching after saying Arms was off on holiday haha. Absolutely feckin brilliant sketch and the fact it had to be done on webcam only made it that much more authentic instead of on a proper recording camera. Absolutely brilliant. Unbelievably accurate as well, like to a T. 😂
Some of my favourite sketches: 1. Human Smart Phone 2.Waiting for a Package 3. Irish lad on J1 goes for a job interview 4. Black Friday - Rise of Amazon 5. Regional accent discrimination 5. Parents when you have friends over 6. An Englishman plays risk 7. Brennans Bread 8. The Ryanair song 9. How to be a Lad Part 1 10. When Irish people can't speak Irish Cheers for the laughs lads, quality stuff and looking forward to future shows and sketches
Studying for the Irish exam... watched it over and over. But where, oh where is the first one I ever saw? It was all in Irish.. the fellow talking to the barman, who eventually managed to say he'd murdered the man's sister.. and he said 'sea' too often.. I was so surprised your next one was in English. Best live sketch, equal to "Who's on First", was the One-Man Show. Thank you for all!!
These are all just so brilliant! You can't just pick 10 of the best because they all are!! Honestly to make a video every week that everyone still loves to this day and many more years to come is fucking impressive! Well done lads well done!! 👏🏼😁 Can't wait to see what 2020 will bring! ❤
Was so much fun watching all those again! I always show friends in Iceland the 'Never Take and Irish Person Literally' to help them understand me better. Also Newsreader on a Date and the Ceol Agus Ól series are my favourites I think!
The first one I watched was "Watching TV with yr parents" but my top 3 are : The irish intervention, Paper hats and the oisin and mum ones cuz it always reminds me of my mum especially the shower one. And also the Brexit divorce and + the ones where countries were coffees
Reminded me of jokes about Dubliners not understanding people from Cork. BTW, I also remember your sketch about a contestant from Cork unable to say 'Dublin'. Great stuff.
i stumbled across you guys by accident. well it was an accident as i spilt some beer on my laptop and you fellas magically appeared as i desperately was wiping the froth off the keyboard. never laughed so much in ages. .. well not since yesterday... gotta go boys.. teaching class now.. imagine an Irish fella teaching Brasilians English... how the world has gone crazy
Impression of the American in the Risk sketch is absolutely spot on of their mentality 😂. Totally agree with Arms on the Every Irish Christmas sketch. One of my absolute favourites. “It’s not a bit dry is it? NOOOO!” 😂 Spot on Foil with the Dad being one of the best characters. 😂 Love Arms as the young child n all and the voice 😂 “swap wha’?” 😂
Ok this is really late but the subtitles at 1:58 say: 有一个可以说汉语的人看着我们的录像吗 Basically translating to: is there a chinese-speaking person watching our videos I am not a Chinese spy i'm Singaporean guys chill
I can't really think of any favourites, pretty much every video I've seen has put a smile on my face and brightened up my day. Can't wait to see what you do next year lads!
I'm so glad my friend showed me your channel like 3 or 4 years ago now. Always a really funny sketch, always something fresh and interesting, definitely a highlight of the week! Can't wait for you guys to come to London :)
6:20 this literally happened to me yesterday. No word of a lie, the clock in my car somehow skipped back an hour, so I turned up bang on an hour late. Took out my phone, looked at the time on that, looked at the text messages wondering where I was and thought, "WTF, I've just lost an hour of my life!" I've had some weird things happen with the electrics/electronics in cars over the years, but that's the first time in over 30 years that that's ever happened.
My top one is regional accent discrimination. "I'm no aggressive, I'm an aromatherapist", that'll probably end up as my ringtone one day. I also loved the monks song and everything with Oisin. Oh and Brexit! It's about what's best for me- the family! :D :D
My mom absolutely loves the one about computers. She has shown it to all of her sisters and friends and laughs so hard every time. She has even quoted the mom character. So yeah, she's definitely a fan girl
The birth of Ann Flanagan and Oisin came about from equipment being locked up in Arms house!! Well that just ruined my image of the 3 of ye living together having the absolute craic 24 hrs of the day....please tell me ye have sleep overs at least 😭😭😭
I also always thought they lived in the same house lol. But then again, seeing the same people 24/7 AND going to the same office to work together all the time might make them really bored of each other
Just have to keep watching these over and over - they never lose their amusement. Too many favourites to mention - and still catching up on the years when I was in the wilds of Berkina Faso and didn't know of you yet. :)

The first one I watched was "Watching TV with yr parents" but my top 3 are : The irish intervention, Paper hats and the oisin and mum ones cuz it always reminds me of my mum especially the shower one. And also the Brexit divorce and + the ones where countries were coffees
17:38 „he treated me very well 😭“
The best! 😆
First of your videos I saw and had me hooked was the Englishman asking the Kerry man for directions, absolutely frickin hilarious
Reminded me of jokes about Dubliners not understanding people from Cork. BTW, I also remember your sketch about a contestant from Cork unable to say 'Dublin'. Great stuff.
Roger that, LM TDabc. Also love Hard Lads and the Ceol Aegus skits.
i stumbled across you guys by accident. well it was an accident as i spilt some beer on my laptop and you fellas magically appeared as i desperately was wiping the froth off the keyboard. never laughed so much in ages. .. well not since yesterday... gotta go boys.. teaching class now.. imagine an Irish fella teaching Brasilians English... how the world has gone crazy
how did paper hats NOT MAKE THE LIST??? had me in stitches!! you guys are great
Mary's transformation into a gremlin was as unexpected as it was delightful.
surprised that the sandcastles sketch didn’t make it into your top 10, serious emotional rollercoaster!
Ok this is really late but the subtitles at 1:58 say: 有一个可以说汉语的人看着我们的录像吗
Basically translating to: is there a chinese-speaking person watching our videos
I am not a Chinese spy i'm Singaporean guys chill
I can't really think of any favourites, pretty much every video I've seen has put a smile on my face and brightened up my day.
Can't wait to see what you do next year lads!
My top three? You lads. 🤩
The sandcastle sketch is my favorite I've watched it more times than I'm willing to admit...
18:01 when you just can't handle your own joke you laugh at it on stage
very professional here lads
I'm so glad my friend showed me your channel like 3 or 4 years ago now. Always a really funny sketch, always something fresh and interesting, definitely a highlight of the week! Can't wait for you guys to come to London :)
6:20 this literally happened to me yesterday. No word of a lie, the clock in my car somehow skipped back an hour, so I turned up bang on an hour late. Took out my phone, looked at the time on that, looked at the text messages wondering where I was and thought, "WTF, I've just lost an hour of my life!"
I've had some weird things happen with the electrics/electronics in cars over the years, but that's the first time in over 30 years that that's ever happened.
My top one is regional accent discrimination. "I'm no aggressive, I'm an aromatherapist", that'll probably end up as my ringtone one day. I also loved the monks song and everything with Oisin. Oh and Brexit! It's about what's best for me- the family! :D :D
Thats my favorite sketch too. THE PEOPLE ARE SICK AND TIRED OF BEING TOLD WE SOUND LIKE PIRATES AAAARG
Top 3
3. when your parents drag you to their friends house
2. Monk Song
1. Leaving Cert (still cry laughing at it)
The Catalan line in the risk game sketch is too perfect
My mom absolutely loves the one about computers. She has shown it to all of her sisters and friends and laughs so hard every time. She has even quoted the mom character. So yeah, she's definitely a fan girl
Love the top 10 all fab choices! Irish intervention was the first sketch I ever saw! I didn't stand a chance after that!
My favourite is the Paper Hat sketch! R. I. P Biddles😢
Carra 2 : RIP indeed. Laughed so hard I cried on that one. Brilliantly ridiculous sketch.
Bibbles.😭
I just love the "songs for the elderly"
The birth of Ann Flanagan and Oisin came about from equipment being locked up in Arms house!! Well that just ruined my image of the 3 of ye living together having the absolute craic 24 hrs of the day....please tell me ye have sleep overs at least 😭😭😭
I also always thought they lived in the same house lol. But then again, seeing the same people 24/7 AND going to the same office to work together all the time might make them really bored of each other
@@taniamanik2012 Working and living together Kills every Relationship.
No, they actually all have relationships, their own place and own life!!
Just have to keep watching these over and over - they never lose their amusement. Too many favourites to mention - and still catching up on the years when I was in the wilds of Berkina Faso and didn't know of you yet. :)
My favourite is Oisin and Ann in the shower sketch
