she is really amazing as teachers as well, i went to her pole workshop in Spain last year and i feel like i just had my first ballet class ever, she uses all that ballet technique on the pole, which is harder for people with no ballet background or flexibility.
Simply beautiful. Amazing how she can keep spinning! How can anyone NOT call this a legitimate sport? Well done IPSF, too! Soon it will be seen as a form of gymnastics. (:
she's a former top rhythmic gymnast, hence the beautiful technique, and amazing flexibility! if pole wants to be seen as a sport, this is the way to go! :)
The pole on the right is a spinning pole. That's how she's able to spin like that. You can spin on a static pole, but you lose momentum from friction. I've been taking lessons for a year and I'm amazed at what these girls can do. It's much harder than it looks. LOL
That's why I like Pole Ballet which incorporate ballet floor work into transitions and finishing moves. You're right the artistry has gone from rhythmic gymnastics nowadays and it's all about stunts. RGs do take ballet as part of their training but it'd be nice to see a bit more of it show through; It takes alot to be technically great AND have artistry, which is why some ballet dancers (sadly) look down on gymnasts for being 'all about the stunts' with no grace.
i think its a good thing that in the near future pole at the Olympic won't be judged based on dancing/ballet or gymnastic background but on pole technique and the story, to be fair to others and to make it a pole sport..this is what i have heard, so for people as good as this perfomer would lose points.
I do pole and everything hurts haha. She isnt actually spinning herself, she is only holding the shape, its the pole that is spinning with her on it lol, but even that to a begginer will hurt worse than wax, after all you are holding your body weight with that patch of skin, im sure shes so used to it she cant even feel it though :)
Очень нравиться,когда не только танцуют под музыку,но и чувствуют ее!Очень красиво!!!
have not been blown away by pole in a long time, this was amazing!
