I listened his albums in 1988 b4 singing for films..what a singing..he showed his full power there..when Aashiqui hppnd he tried not to imitate him but used only his idol's techniques adding Rafi's techniques too..they kept saying he is copying him..though he just followed him. If real cloning is to be seen..it is in his albums when he sounded awesome exactly and more sweet that Rajesh Roshan thought it was sung by Kishore..even Kishore used to ask who was this boy..he's singing just like me? In movies, he slowly started forming his own style..he loosened his singing and sang in low notes..giving feel and mood to every word he rendered..that sounded melodious...and a new singer is born...but as he was getting more successful, he said ppl started getting jealous..so he willingly wanted to break monopoly and went to kolkata for 2 yrs and acted and produced a film..as he returned singers like udit stabilized..sonu too started showing full power...they too use senior's techniques...like udit though sounds rafi..uses kishore's techniques of sounding powerful in singing words, singing in a joyful mood...sonu uses rafi, kishore, spb and sanu's techniques...
