You do not know how many videos I watched to find something simple to redo my ottoman. This is my fave 💕

The end product is all that matters and it turned out great when all was said and done. Congrats.

I think I like it even better with the fabric on it! Very beautiful

Adding batting on top of the foam makes the end product look a bit more polished by covering the edges (and joint seams) of the foam. It also reduces the risk of any sharp edges from the wood cut through the fabric 😊 If you added batting to the sides, it may have made the shape slightly rounder, rather than having those slight angles. Looks fantastic though. Cognac leather is such a beautiful colour. I’d love to see it with the copper base on too. Maybe some rubber bumpers where the pipe touches the leather could stop any marks or scratches so you could use the table with or without the copper base to change it up 😊😊

Beautiful! I would add thin cording around the top seam, just to make it look a little more polished. Love how this came out!

Love both versions plus I would still used the copper base you made to dress up the leather version. TFS

Thanks! Yeah I wanted to use the copper base but it was a little too weak. I needed a thicker pipe (1/2 not 3/4). ♥️

Avoid bubbles by flip flopping and stapling at opposite ends... pulling tight as you staple

I typed in vegan cognac leather on Etsy and just chose a color I liked :)
