Hi Katie. My 9 year old had a birthday recently and we purchased some of the samples. He opened the package and said excitedly "are these the soaps from the soap making videos we always watch together? Royalty Soaps? These were just what I wanted!" Can't wait to give my second oldest the princess peach soap next month as it was just what she wanted. So in conclusion, thanks for the great content that helps my family wind down after a busy day.
Hi Katie!! Old hag viewer here, been around since the garage days. I would love to see an update on the business side of things, like which sibling is doing which jobs, maybe a day in the business style video? I love that you have grown into a family business, it’s so cool! I’m so thrilled for you and would love to see you guys working together! Thank you!
Hi Katie!! Just wanted to say you are such an inspiration and the reason I got into soap making! Idea for future dessert soap batches: doing a melt and pour drizzle AFTER you cut the soap so that the drips run down the face of the bars. I thought that could look so cool!
Goose, hands down. I too picture the geese and their uncle on Aristocats. Their butt waddle walk is just perfection. I always adored them and now my kids do too.
The goose might be good for gossip, but as someone who likes to keep to themselves most of the time, I think Badger in a Top Hat has the right mix of serious and fancy and would probably be a better neighbor.
Oh, a Badger in a top hat for certain! Of course, as a member of House Drunken Badger (it's part of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA)) it's only natural that I would want another Badger as a neighbor.
QOTD: Goose in a bonnet no question. It makes me think of the mischievous goose game where he steals and plays pranks on the gardener haha. Also, I think this bar would benefit from a real dried orange slice on one side of the icing.
It's a wonderful design - so simple, pretty yet vibrant and playful - but I do agree the colours need a wee tweak. The brightness of the top is making the soft yellow bar look dullish in contrast. Also: Badgers forever. Also also: your husband is freaking hilarious and you have great chemistry together, can he be guest star more often plz?
I love oranges and any citrus smell. It’s just so clean. Those orange imbeds look like those cheesy poof balls that come in the GIANT barrel shaped tubs. You know the ones that go stale 5.3 seconds after you open the package?
This soap reminded me of a cupcake calendar i had and believe it or not june was an orange vanilla cupcake! For my 35th birthday a friend of mine made a giant version of that cupcake for me. So that you Miss Katie for making this soap it brought back a happy memory 🙂. Also team goose 😁
Katie, you brighten my evenings when I'm drained from work and not sure what I'm doing with myself and so burnt out. The creativity and colour and fun of your soaps and just your bubbly happy nature in general make me smile 😊💕
Love this collection theme! I was curious what your production sequence looks like when you aren't filming a single soap, but producing for sale! Do you still mix the same quantity of oils and work in smaller batches, or is there a scaling up to make the quantities you need? How much soap can you make in one day? I always love seeing the creative side of your soap videos, but would you ever do even a short video on what it looks like to make a TON of soap?
Allllllll of this depends on the month but we only scale double what I have on camera, so four loaves at a time. That's our biggest batch size because of the extreme detail these soaps require. We call the batches I do on camera "jacks" and the 4x loaf batches "kings". At my very fastest and when I worked alone, before a Holiday launch, I could make 8-10x Kings in a day. That's over 500 bars. XD It was a 14 hour day. lol
@@RoyaltySoaps Wow Katie your an amazing strong woman, and I admire you so much. The way you manage to do all your soap making videos, run a business, do all the other social media things you make for us, and run a whole household, and do tons of amazing things for your family above and beyond the normal just caring for your family is purely heart warming, and spectacular beyond any words I could try to use to describe how spectacular you are. I'm sending you and your family and friends blessings and good vibes.
James Herriot is one of my absolute favorite writers in the entire universe. When I was a kid, his books were in the grocery store and my mom finally bought me one after so much begging, and it kicked off my lifelong love of him (oooooh time for a reread!) Absolutely love the soap!
Mmmm I can almost smell fresh oranges just looking at this soap!! Reminds me of having brunch with my girlfriends drinking mimosas! Thank you for your great positive attitude and your talent!!
Love All Creatures Great and Small. Christopher Timothy played James Herriot in the original TV series here in the UK. I have not got into the modern series being screened at the moment. Best wishes from Hastings, East Sussex x
I love this soap! I also love your question of the day. I think I’m going with a badger with a top hat as a nieghbor. He will most likely be a quiet gentleman that doesn’t have lots of parties at his home so it would be quiet. I doubt he would be too friendly with the other neighbors so no nosey nieghbor problems. If I had the goose for a neighbor I think she would have daily tea parties with her family members and there would be plenty of noise! So that’s my answer. What a great question!!
a badger in a top hat, no doubt. I feel like they would be such good friends to have tea with . And sincerely, my fun thing to do for myself was watching this video! is ever so relaxing to watch you make soap and to hear you talk ♥
I had such a giggle when you said, in the middle of the video when you said and look! I have some green left! And you piped it into the little purple mould. Meanwhile you kind of needed that for the end! You're just the sweetest!
This soap is in my shower right now! It turned out great with a green accent for the frosting and an exfoliant in there, too. The scent is really nice. I love the citrus ones because they are fresh and clean can be used anywhere. 🍊
I'm new to soap making I still haven't even made my first batch I just keep reading and watching videos trying to get as much information as I can before I start. I want to first compliment you for your beautiful bars of soap you make. You are definitely very talented and you inspire me to want to make soap more than I did before. Your videos are awesome very beneficial, very surreal you are the real deal and I love that about you. I look forward to all your videos thank you for sharing your soapmaking techniques and your wonderful awesome bubbly personality with us I think your awesome and may God continue to bless you and your family and I pray that he keeps all of you safe and in great health
Katie, I honestly thought that having a daily cleaning rota for myself was such an old fashioned thing to do, that I've never confessed it to anyone until now. Does everybody have a rota like me? You made my day when you mentioned yours Katie! Oh, and the answer to your question about which I would prefer, I would prefer the geese please. They are great guard animals. God bless you and your family.I
I wonder what it would look like if you stuck one of those plastic holographic texturing sheets onto the top of a bar of soap? The sheets leave nothing behind because they can be put on chocolate. Somehow it creates a texture and makes it holographic 😆
Badger in a top hat for me! I'm a Hufflepuff, so I would choose a badger anyway, but I've always adored the badgers in the Narnia series and wanted to live by one!
Love your videos! When you mentioned the goose in a bonnet, it made me think of the Sydney Easter Duck Fashion Show. I don't know if they still do it, but it's kinda cool to watch the videos on YT of it. And I would choose the badger in a top hat, too!
What a fun soap design! Love it. I even love the top without the green. It's so bright and colorful! You're so fun to watch while I'm making soap and candles.
That conversation could have been a conversation between me and my husband! I was laughing so much I had to go back and show it to him, and we were both cracking up listening to Caleb 😂
Beautiful soap! As for the question of the day; I grew up absolutely LOVING The Wind In The Willows movies and series (and now musical) so I have to go with Mr. Badger in his fancy top hat.
when you got to the frosting, I was sitting there thinking “what could you possibly have forgotten?” I figured it was something key when you had so much soap batter left in yellow and green. :-) As for the question, definitely a badger in a top hat. Geese are mean, and I (a grown woman) am afraid of geese.
If you make it to 1 million subscribers would you consider doing an entire collection of fan designs? That would be awesome.
That's a wonderful idea!!
Not if! When she does! Lol
Yes!!!
Love it!
IF?!!! dont you mean when!!
I live for Caleb’s monotone responses to these TikTok revelations 😆
This is my whole life. This is what I live with. lol

Listening to Katie talk about the preppy tiktok with their shelves of sugar scrub while looking at my multiple shelves of royalty soaps bars 😂😂

Great idea!!
This method would work so good for a sundae themed soap! Carmel, strawberry and chocolate varieties over a confetti base maybe??
Karen does this sometimes fromEdens Secret. Really like the look
Love creative people helping other creative people 😍
This needs to happen!!!!
Goose, hands down. I too picture the geese and their uncle on Aristocats. Their butt waddle walk is just perfection. I always adored them and now my kids do too.
Katie’s response to cleantok is me when I am watching them… Caleb’s response is me trying to put it in practice 😩😂
His dry humor is beautiful
Will I ever make soap? Heck no.
Do I watch every video? Heck yes.
James Herriot is my childhood hero! I know his stories like you know Anne of Green Gables.
i think the inside orange embed would do really well if it was coated in a bright bright bright orange mica, like that cheeto dust one
Oooh, it would look like a tangerine
1) "peasant bar" 😆
2) using it as a verb makes it even funnier
I am so glad that you made a collection just for you!!! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

"thanks to clean tok i have my life back" that bit sounded so much like google voice output for some random bad infomercial 😂😂😂

Lol my brain went the same way yours did with the geese, Abigail and Amelia, from the Aristocats, and BOTTOMS UP still makes me crack up to this day
Definitely a badger. A hedgehog would also suffice. Total Beatrix Potter vibes.
I love how simple and adorable it is!!!
Bit random/crazy, but have you ever thought about doing one-two months themed of like, the Sailor Scouts?

Badger with a top hat! Very cute soap. Enjoying Caleb's contributions
Katie, I love Aristocats!
So, both geese in the bonnets. They were so funny. And, I also loved all the kittens names and Thomas.
Beautiful soap, btw.

This soap is giving me Orange Julius vibes! Also getting the orange samples at a roadside gas station vibes.
Yes! Thinking the exact same!
I'd definitely say brighten up the yellow and make the top white, and then it will be perfect!
Oh my! The topping of the soap looks exactly like my grandma's DELICIOUS Tangerine Quark Cream Cake!!! (if it was more white, even more)

Deliciously stunning soap Katie.👌🍊😎
I would have a badger in a top hat, cute.👌
You should do one "collection" a year like this, just different designs you wanted to make that didn't fit in with the rest
Omg my mom legit always makes Rudolph references I cannot tell you how many times a day she sings there’s always tomorrow for dreams to come true

Caleb's "Sunglasses Hut" is PEAK best friend husband.
The leaves you did remember look great!
Badger in a top hat, hands down. The goose would be too nosy. XD
Oh my goodness 🤣🤣, you two are adorable .
Goose in a bonnet.... hands down. On the one side and the Badger in the top hat on the other side. I love neighbours. Hugs from Esquimalt

I'd want the Beavers from the Chronicles of Narnia as my neighbor.
This summer cold this year is terrible! I've had the raspy voice for two weeks!! Glad you are feeling better and enjoy your summer!
Summer cold is going through our house…first husband, then son, then me!
Goose in a bonnet! Now let's waddle! *cue waddle music*
I love it!
Plopping the yellow over the orange cane... forbidden banana pudding!
Definitely another winner! I can smell the orange from here!
The goose in the bonnet is what I would pick the soap looks awesome totally enjoyed it

Badger!!!! I love the badger lady from Red Wall (cartoon)
Top hat badger for a neighbour is amazing. haha
I’m not a preppy girl but I do have a tree hut scrub collection. I like a luxurious bubble bath moment.
I LOVE this idea for a collection. Excited to see what comes up 😁
The end screens on the last two videos have been AMAZING. 😍
Badger in a top hat would not only be my neighbor, but also my bestie.
Is there a reason you always do a super high top pyramid of frosting? I think one layer always looks soooo cute and perfectly piped.
I didn't know tree hut sugar scrubs were trendy 😳. Exotic bloom is my favorite 😌.
A badger in a top hat! I've been chased by an angry goose before, and I'd hate to make my little companion mad and get chased through the forest!
Soooooo PRETTY and I can smell it from here. Yum.
The soap is gorgeous, I love the orange. For me it would be a badger without a doubt.
But wait. Who’s the clean tok lady with the daily habits?!? 😂 I need her!
the updated version that is up on the store right now is my favorite soap from you, i have bought 3 bars lol
Lol is it weird that my first thought about the question of the day was that a goose would be a dangerous neighbor since they eat small creatures? 😅

As for the question of the day; I grew up absolutely LOVING The Wind In The Willows movies and series (and now musical) so I have to go with Mr. Badger in his fancy top hat.
The orange in the middle of the bar (which is very cute) was easier to see whenever it wasn't facing the camera directly for some reason.
A badger in a top hat! Also, I bet this soap smells amazing.
ok that design is ADORABLE
I think this is going to be a good morning soap. With the orange 🍊 scent to perk up your day.
100% goose in bonnet, especially if they’re the aristocats ones.
