Cambridge Colleges tip - if you know a current student or alumnus of the university, they can take guests into Cambridge colleges with them for free (the number depends on the college but is usually 3, although it is lower for King's and John's). The cost of tourist admission per college has gone up quite a lot over the last couple of years, so any way to save money is worth pointing out.
As someone who was born in Stevenage but now lives in Cambridge this is great to see and also to hear a George Boyd shout out!!!

The Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in Cambridge is worth a visit so many weird and wonderful things from around the world and here in the UK, I found it better than the more famous Fitzwilliam Museum.
The building everyone was queueing up outside was the Senate House, and is where graduations happen. It isn't one of the Cambridge colleges but is where you get your degree certificate.
At 18:25 the girl drops the banner and looks like she's given up. Not sure if she works there or accidently knocked it over but looked like she was going to walk away. 18:25

We went to Cambridge last month. Was alright. Did most of the free museums and the botanical garden. Didn't go in any of the universities or colleges because there were all closed at the time. Looks like we saved money as they looked boring.
