- [Recorded on 9-8-21] Here's a bit of a wacky elevator uploaded for April Fool's Day, easily the strangest one I've found on Cornell's campus so far. As mentioned in the video, this was installed when the building was constructed in 1932, then was modernized c. 1990. However, most equipment was left original, just the buttons were replaced.

Whaaat?? Whoever at Dover modernized this elevator really wanted to keep the original character of this elevator and did an amazing job at it!

I vote this to be one of the best Dover elevators out there. Such a beauty! Glad they kept mostly everything original.
Agreed! It would have been better if it were original, but I think Dover did an excellent job at keeping the charm of the vintage Otis elevator.

Incredibly nice and unusual elevator, and it would have been really amazing if Dover used mechanical bells for their Impulse fixtures. It also would be cool if mechanical bells started making a comeback on newer fixtures (2000-present, and beyond).
I’ve never seen a Dover impulse floor panel that’s gold/gold color, the more you know.
