When I was little the Ringling Brothers circus train would come by my grandparents business. I would always pray it would stop. To my surprise one day it did. The tracks was getting some emergency work done. Meeting some of the circus folks and seeing some of the animals was one of the coolest memories I have. Who would have thought one day my nana would just invite them in to have a coke and stretch their legs.
What a great friendship you and Scott have, Jordan, its always great to see you guys do videos together! Absolutely beautiful restaurant, such an awesome part of America's history!! Personally for me I loved the huge picture of Emit Kelley, the Sad Clown, and the wonderful picture of George & Gracie...there will never be anyone like them again, the best!!! I could just spend hours looking around in there! 👍👍
When I was younger, I had a crush on Gunther. When he retired I stopped going when Circus came to town. Last time I saw him perform with his big cats was at St. Pete. Bayfront Arena.
Very cool that you took Scott to see this amazing place. When I saw your first vlog about the train I thought about Scott immediately. How awesome to have your meal made by Bob & to meet a Wallenda!! Bob has truly made a great piece of circus history. 🎪
Lunch with JTL and Scott on a circus train. Highlight of my day. You two are my favorites. Thanks for this vlog. Ask Scott about my background and you will understand why this is so special to me.
I remember this from the other time you went here. Your sandwich sounded so good. I'm glad you came back again and showed the place to Scott. I hope Bob gets the train saved. Thanks for showing us this lovely train again. You and Scott take care.
Good afternoon Scott Michaels an Jordan .i am enjoying the circus episode .How cool to eat in a train car dinner ,nice little gem you found .thank you for taking all us with you on this cool adventure Jordan. Hello to Katie an Jah
Jordan, this is so cool! My family used to go to The Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey circus when they would have their show in Raleigh, NC. The monkey riding the dog was the funniest thing I've ever seen, couldn't catch my breath from laughing so hard. I also loved the beautiful horses. It was a 3 ring circus. So much going on at the same time. Thanks for the memories. I'd love to visit Bob's Train and Sarasota.😊
When Ringling Bros Barnum and Bailey came to our little town in Connecticut it was just down the street. My Father had meet several of the owners and workers, many Father drove an 18 wheeler 🚛 on the shore the of Connecticut. When they came to Willimantic my Father would man the snow cone machine, needless the say we ate many. That’s also where my Father convinced us that check out Lobster Man, little do d we know what a horrible real man he was. Love this tour of the train, Willimantic also was the hub for trains going to NY, Ma, such a great time to be a kid. This was the sixties. Strangely enough my parents retired to Punta Gorda not far from Sarasota ❤😎Again great to see you with Scott🥰🤗🐾How cool to meet a Wallenda ❤️🩹and have Bob cook your omelette
2 of my most favorite UA-camrs having lunch on a circus train - must watch! That looks like so much fun, what a great adventure - this might be one you revisit with your beautiful fiance :)
Thank you Jordan, this was another interesting and enjoyable vlog. You and Scott really brighten up this time of year, seems almost like a summer road trip
Hello Jordan. I love anything with trains and rail travel. In my city, there’s a diner called Franks. The diner is in an old rail car. I love going there to see the memorabilia and the food is excellent
That place looks so fun, I don’t think he had started it yet when I visited my grandma in the 80s. There was a photo of the Ringling hotel, I remember seeing that place from the outside and it looked so cool - it was already empty then though and later demolished.
Muppet show memory from one of the ballroom sketches: boy muppet to girl muppet: Do you like circuses? girl muppet: Yes, I do. Do you like Ringling? boy muppet: I dunno. I've never Ringled!
