  • Trying to figure out how to get the filters out without the manual can be tough. Sharing my experience on how I got each filter out. Bought the filter kit on Amazon.

Awesome, glad you posted this. I need to change my filters on my 1835b. Have you had to change any hydraulic lines? Mine has a leak, I haven't seriously looked for it yet. Hopefully it's a hose that's not too hard to change. Thanks again.

I've only replaced the auxiliary exterior cables that run from the back. I have it open up to try and fix the parking brake. I will take a look tomorrow and get back.

With all the cover plates off (foot plate to seat plates all of the hoses are "easily" accessable. Though depending on the hose you might have to take a few hoses off to get to it. The plate with all the controls is the hardest to get off as the controls are attached to it.

But where is the oil drain plug?

Thank you for the post. We have a Case 1835B at my wife’s sisters cow farm. I was wondering how to replace fuel filters.

Thank you!!! I have this same machine and I'm going to change all the filters today. Putting the bucket up seems obvious now, good tip. Question: When you removed the hydraulic lines from the radiator, dis all of the fluid come out? How much fluid came out of the hydraulic filters when you removed those. I have leaks and I've removed the same plate that you did. Seems like replacing any hose is doable but not a walk in the park. Thanks again!!

What is HTO additive for hydraulic system?

I tried to find that too, I read that it is no longer available. I just used universal hydraulic fluid. Been using it for several years and so far so good.
