Rod: When my drip guard in my LG900 begins to get a little rusty, I run a steel brush wheel over the corroded areas, then apply some Kirkland Canola spray oil, then put them back on the grill & run it up to +400F. Works great! I hope what’s coming out of your LG is as tasty as mine...V
just curious about the pellets you use. Because I've never had that much ash. I've cook on my LG900 every other day at least for weeks at a time before cleaning. NEVER EVER SEEN ASH OR DUST LIKE THAT.

Do you ever have any issue with your grill not maintaining temperature? Mine seems to burn too hot.
I did and I contacted Louisiana grills and they sent me a new controler for free fixed the problem

For those of us who take pride in how our backyard looks......
Do you dump used motor oil back there as well?
Yep
No to wire brushes, tinfoil wad works best and a whole lot safer!
What is unsafe about the wire brush just curious never heard about it being unsafe
@@Rodsmokingstuff Cases of emergency surgery removing bristles out of peoples throats some states outlawing wire brushes for grills! Health hazard!
@@banjoeye ok thanks for the information
Late to the party but it is also the WORST thing for porcelain covered grates. Wood scraper when hot or nylon bristles when cold.
