Istanbul Tram T1 and Taksim-Kabataş Funicular

This video includes clips (filmed in 2011) of the Istanbul Tram T1 Line and the Taksim-Kabataş funicular line.
The T1 tram line, opened in 1992, covers a distance of 18½ km with terminating stations at Kabataş (connection with the Funicular line) and Bağcılar and 29 stops in between. The line runs over the Galata bridge, one of the four bridges crossing the Golden Horn.
The rolling stock used on this line comprises of two low-floor tram types, the Bombardier Flexity Swift A32 and the Alstom Citadis X04.
Istanbul Tram also operates three other tram routes, namely T2, T3 and T5. T5 was opened in 2021.
