In June of 1954, Avatar Meher Baba planned a 2 day meeting inviting 1000 men to gather at Meherbad, near Ahmednager, in the state of Maharashtra, India.
He stated in June 1954 that he was done with giving out messages, and on September 30th he would be giving his final message.
He also indicated he would stop using his alphabet board one week after the meeting, which he did in Satara on October 7th, 1954
On the second afternoon of the large gathering, on September 30th 1954, at 3:00pm, under a large canopy at lower Meherabad in front of 968 men , Meher Baba gave his Final Declaration.
This video was originally made in September 2004 and presented at Mandali Hall in lower Meherabad
for the 50th Anniversary of the Final Declaration meetings. Then it was modified and included in the film Three Incredible Weeks With Meher Baba, released in 2007. In May 2020, this version was made at Meherabad during the Indian lockdown of the Covid-19 pandemic. It has been re-worked extensively, converting the original SD footage into HD. some scenes re-edited, and a better slow motion algorithm used for the slow motion scenes.

@@radiojet1429 at about 8:07... he did not say the world population, he said the world... 3/4 of the world will be destroyed, the time has come for the end of multiple separateness and manyness in illusion... and it looks to me more than 3/4 of the world has already been destroyed.... but I still have some hope one fourth of the world is not destroyed because it would be the most real part of illusion and I hope the life of concord and mutual understanding leading to a lasting happiness is somewhere because it is closer to Reality..

To experience i alone exist what baba was claiming is a sort of existence that is identified with mysterious existence of almighty , where there is neither the state of who I am ? nor sachchidanand ? Probably all baba except baba himself has taken babas message in wrong way .I request all you so called lovers of god .Please do not try to interpret either baba or his messages that may result in wrong understanding about baba . People of religious intellect have their own intuitional capacity to realise baba in the same way that was expecting from all mandali and his so called lovers .Baba himself is the embodiment of ultimate reality which is beyond perception and self manifested as a result he was constantly experiencing the complete statehood of god.which is a mighty silence . Other than the illumines, no one can answer your question. Personally, I believe he broke his Silence every time he said he would. By breaking the silence, he is able to bring down more divine force for the benefit of all.

No, Meher Baba maintained silence for the last 4 years of his life and communicated by spelling words out on an alphabet board and hand gestures. This was narrated by a life long disciple of Meher Baba's, Meherwan Jessawala.

Why did he not include woman? Not very enlightened of him......
In 1954 and 1955 Baba did not invite women to the Mehrrabad Sahavas and in 1958 Baba did include women at the Sahavas. I do not know if he gave his reasoning for it. Something you could look into.
