Pretty nails, makeup, dresses, etc. as being “too feminine” and you aren’t a “real man” if you like those things. That’s only one of the things that the term “toxic masculinity” is referring to. Not that masculinity in and of itself is a toxic concept! Just saying that in some ways it *can* be a toxic concept if used in the wrong ways that can hurt people if they don’t wanna fit into that box. Hope that clears things up! 💕
