INSANE Pakistani Non Veg Food Tour in Dubai l Sindhi Biryani + Mutton Paaya + Chicken Bihari Kabab

- Today's episode features our quest to indulge in the best of Pakistani flavours in Dubai. And accompanying us on this gastronomic journey are our gracious hosts Mona Biswarupa Mohanty, Sachin Bradoo and Nazis who are big time foodie like us.
We started the journey in the morning with a cup of masala tea at Banarasi Chaat and Kulfi Wala. As you enter this place, the colourful decor catches your attention. The walls are filled with graffiti featuring scenes from an old Indian cityscape and also with catchy phrases.
After enjoying the artistic ambience and a nice cup of tea we went to our next destination named Des Pardes restaurant. It is one the most popular Pakistani eateries where the food is said to be amazing and pocket friendly.
The ambience was very basic yet neat and clean. And true to the reputation it was bustling with dinner who had come for breakfast. We first visited the curry and bread section in the kitchen to see what all things were available. The staff turned out to be very warm and genial. As we settled down for breakfast we couldn't resist ourselves from ordering a plethora of dishes. The spread included six kinds of breads, mostly tandoor baked, a variety of curries, haleem and a sweet dish. Amongst the bread we liked the roghni naan, kulcha and aalu paratha while amongst the curries we enjoyed the paya, keema, anda kofta and chana. The chicken haleem too was phenomenal. Although everything looked a little similar in appearance, the taste profiles were very different. This place truly won our hearts.
From there we reached Daily Restaurant, another affordable Pakistani eatery, to dig into one of their specialties i.e. Bihari kabab. Interestingly, this dish is originally from Bihar in India but it's hugely popular in Pakistan too. What makes it different from other kabab is the thin strips of meat that is used in it. They are marinated in a special spice blend and then strung onto a skewer. In appearance it seemed like a meat boti or a chunk of meat and hence here it's sometimes referred to as boti Bihari Kabab. This kabab was perfectly grilled, tender and super flavourful. It was succulent as well and we loved it.
Next in the line was an Afghani restaurant named Afghan Palace. in the same neighborhood as it was equally popular. They serve a huge variety of classic Afghani fare and has a very welcoming interior. We tried their best selling kobida seekh kebab with borani Banjan. The tender and flavour kebab were great to try.
The last stop of this tour was the legendary Pakistani restaurant named Pak Liyari. Their biryani has a huge fan base. Hence we tried the same and weren't disappointed. The meat was tender and the rice was so flavourful. It also offers a wide range of meat dishes. For all yummy details regarding this tour, do watch the full episode.

Sewage worker?? Do people really think that all Biharis in Dubai are labourers?? I can assure there many multi-millionaire Biharis in Dubai some of them I know of personally. Des pardes is a very affordable restaurant, mostly drivers and labourers come there. You should try dishes like qeema daal sabzi, which you also ear at home. Shahi dishes might n9t be up to the mark. For bbq try alhaj bundle Khan. Specially behavior boti

If you can travel to Pakistan, then you should try, as any food cooked outside of Pakistan, does not have the original taste. I have tried most restaurants in Dubai & elsewhere in Europe/USA, there is no match for the taste found locally. From Karachi to Peshawar, you will find food that desi taste cannot be replicated.
From Shikarpur's Kulfi-Falooda & Pickles, to Sabir Restaurant's Nihari in Karachi, Lahore's Anda Channa, Peshawar's Afghani Pulao to Shinwari Dumba Karahi & Quetta's Rosh and Sajji, there is no match for the taste. Similarly, the Halwa Poori Breakfast in Karachi & Peshawar's Beef Paya Breakfast, has simply no match anywhere.

Pak Liyari was my favorite. Few months back twice I had visited Dubai from Saudi Arabia with 2 of my Saudi friends. We had wanted to try the authentic Pak Lyari biryani in Deira. But my doubt the taste was different n not good. My doubt is I perhaps didn't visit the original Pak Lyari.

Bhook lag gayi dekh ke. I am a Indian but I like Pakistani nonveg more than Indian style of nonveg. Their meat is a lot more tender and flavorfully grilled than ours.
