In addition to taking care of her mother, Serra works in a luxury hotel and studies at a private university on a scholarship; Despite his young age, he had to take on great responsibilities. To his defence they are still getting to know each other and it is really a logical response. Glad he was smart enough to make the bluff so that Serra didn't have to suffer and Asena continues to look bad. It's like damn, the plot failed and she got instant karma. Feel bad for Serra though. She's like wtf. She should run if there's such a mother in law. Not worth staying in that relationship when you have a toxic MIL.
I like how Serra deal with her problems so professional and determine. Every girl should have such courage to speak up.

No lie, but seeing barabaros first made me thought something bad was going to happen to Selim aswell due to the beetroot incident, not to mentions as he was in jail. Really thought that serra wouldve been kidnapped or something worse. The best series i have ever watched. Literally i come home from school finally excited to watch something. He would not leave Nilgun but as his mother had put a guilt on Nilgun about preventing him from his education in America, she pushed him away ((that is why he tell her that she is stubborn not knowing what his mother had done)). Asena was a model and a prostitute when he met her. His wife was sick and he was an easy talget for that she devil. He made that mistake then but later he realized that she was nothing but a painted plastic woman who had no substance to her and when he found out she was stealing form him he got rid of her. The love he had for Nilgun never went away but he had felt rejected by her. If you noticed he named his daughter after the nick name he had for Nilgun , Nil . Yes she aged and so did he but the love is still there. Even his mother regretted her pushing away Nilgun and separating them.

Please don't talk about him as if he is a nice guy. He is a predator as well. He is a little Mafia of the area. He create fear and get free bees from shop owners. in my point of view, he is still a nice guy. it didn't extremely shown the boldness of him in the show, it's just the way he gave warning to people made them feared of. and also he obviously didn't take the chance to get close and harm Serra or whatever. he may had gotten freebies in every vendors, still he is not the person who get what he sees without any exchange or even steal, as well as he is known and a captain in town. he might have the right, in exchange for their safety. please watch the series properly [ it wasn't Barbarus 's fault Burak accident it was the man who got way too far from giving Burak a lesson, he just told him to give a lesson not giving him a death but the man got slop off. In terms of Nazlim, she is the mastermind of her own criminal activities, in evidence she even destroyed of course the friendship between Bericik and Zeynep, back stabbing Serra despite the kindness of Serra and even snatched Bericik's watch that almost made Serra thief in front of Kutlusay Family.
