  • Tim Bartow has a rare form of cerebral palsy that affects just 100 people in the US. Despite living with significant physical challenges, Tim is cognitively normal and aspires to be a writer and filmmaker someday.
In this poignant and powerful video, Tim makes the case for looking beyond the disabilities that some people face and seeing their humanity first.
He talks about all of the things he’d like to do and to have in his life, and then, suddenly, there is a surprise awaiting him. Tim’s mother, Liz Bartow, places virtual reality goggles over his eyes for the first time and his reaction is one that you will not soon forget.
    Welcome to Tim’s New World.

I want to help make a short film with Tim! I will be posting a crew call and casting call soon. I want to develop his script! We've been in touch, and I hope it all works out. I live in Branson, MO so if anyone wants to help with transport and lodging for a crew of 4 (max) and enough room for cameras and sound gear, we could shoot it in 2 days or less. =) Tim knows how to get a hold of me, this post is for BLUE CHALK MEDIA if you guys want to help us out with loaning gear rather than us transport our sticks and mics, monitors, etc. We have cams, unless you have ARRI...We can shoot with our own stuff lol. ;)
