LCY saved XiaoFeng once again when she got drowned in the lake in the Li Empire since she was his deep subconsciousness. XiaoFeng prepared for XiaoWu a thicker clothe to wear in Dan Chi, then LCY custom tailor made for XiaoFeng a horse riding suit. XiaoWu had roasted a fish for XiaoFeng when they were on their way to Dan Chi while trying to avoid the SuoBo militia. XiaoFeng then prepared 2 eggs for XiaoWu for breakfast in Dan Chi. LCY later opened the cooked crab and picked all the crab meat for XiaoFeng......
Something about her actively searching him out all the time makes her so endearing to me. She just wants to be friends with him. She's such a genuine person that it's probably overwhelming him. It'll wear him down until he's head over heals in love with her again.
LCY can’t figure out why he has headaches and heartaches when XF is near him. You can see he does have some feelings for her if not then why would he have those symptoms. They are starting their relationship slowing again. I do like his little smirk at the end of this episode. 😘 Just a quick summary of the last part of them. XF comes to give LCY some wine for him to recover from his cold. He didn’t want it so nobody would accept her wine. She did it to thank him for saving her twice and want to be friends. LCY says if she really wants to be his friend then he can think of something for her to do so he can be her friend. She says it doesn’t what is the task, she can do it. She gives the wine to him bez someone is calling her. U see he likes her. Also, why not her personality is so cute and lovable without any schemes. From the book, one of the reasons he loves her bez of her carefree spirit. ❤️
His world is nothing but scheming and planning. Even with Se Se, he's wooing her so carefully but Xiao Feng is just too fabulous to deny. She's fun, innocent, vivacious and full of the warmth that his world lacks (of course that's always the case with these palace romances). I've read parts of the novel and I'm thankful they added these extra scenes of them getting along before the wedding when things will start to go sour. It's also obvious that she's starting to fall for him again this time around. Which, of course, will only complicate matters later 😢
That lady that watches over Xiaofeng and Ah Du is actually really kind. She's really looking out for them without prejudice =') The saltiness on Sese's face when Cheng Yin rescued Xiaofeng instead was hilarious >.< Gu Jian lying about their relationship is cunning and fucked up but amusing at the same time. I really like how they're subtly repeating the same behavior as when they first met (let me think of a way for you to repay my kindness). Nice storytelling ^.^
How come all people go to fight with him, didn't tell him what happen to him with the princess when he was there. can't not hide for ever right for their happy life.
I think it's because they didn't know the extent to what he did or how much they loved each other until he betrayed her. I used to wonder about why no one would tell them either since they are in each other's orbits again. I can see why Ah Du didn't let her know since she's basically respecting Xiao Feng's wishes to forget.
LCY is kind of similar to the Chinese series Untouchable Lover of Rong Zi. They both want to be the emperor, and in doing so they plan, and use others to get power and stronger. Just like how LCY is wooing Se Se knowing her father work in the imperial court,, minister.
