I have a question. When a gymnast falls off the beam do you take off additional points if they had a deep squat/low chest or if they took steps in an attempt to save the skill? It is specified on floor and vault in the CoP, but it isn't talked about in the beam section of the CoP.

@@bluepanther1013 landing deductions are capped at 1.0 with a fall and 0.8 without a fall :)

Great video! Please do more of these - with the skill symbols and the breakdown of why the skill was down-graded. Not only is it good for me (WAG judge trying to get to senior level), but it also good for the gymnasts to see what passes and what doesn't. Much appreciated!

Nice tumbling, but it’s hard to overlook that nearly every dance element was performed poorly. She really has to work on that or she’ll end up in a Skinner-like situation
