One more tip : Layering your outfit is the most important thing in dti. Once you learn on how to layer and colour it properly you’d definitely catch everyone’s attention to your outfit. If you can’t do it or you’re bad at it, you should go to free play and practice more often in your outfits. Or take inspiration from people like her. It really helps. Even if you’re confident enough that it slays, always make sure to learn hacks, combos, tips from other top models.

@@Cloudyy0Kat When you join the game, you are either in the round or in the intermission. In the round you can find a table infront of lana's salon and there is a pink list with options like vip server or pro server and there is also a freeplay server. In the intermission lobby you can see a pink list above a table if you look around and here you can also join freeplay. Hope that helped I have trouble explaining things

Another tip that I would like to add is to stop using colors that are way too oversaturated and vibrant (unless the theme calls for that). This is very noticeable in color themes like Red and Blue. It makes your outfit an eyesore. Instead, go for more realistic colors that are a bit darker and slightly more muted.

No because when everyone dosent know what the theme is they vote for someone off theme and it’s rlly hard.
it's so unfair tho the best outfits that follow the theme don't place and the outfits which don't follow the theme or not that good come first and it happens in every round and server 😭

Some people pick whatever they want and they still won without following the theme
tip: for certain categories be people that MOST people recognize. ex: when that category is “cowboy” usually I dress up as woody from toy story and I usually place top 3 because people recognize that character and they are more likely to vote higher.
one of my early (and very few) dti wins was when the theme was rockstar and i dressed up as lisa from ner mv. Won 1st with that so yes to recognizable outfits !!

About the creativity...
It depends on the server, i feel like in regular servers people don't care as much for creativity or they aren'c that creative
I remember one time the theme was equestrian and i wanted to do something creative so i dress up as Twilight Sparkles from equestria girls, but when i showed up on the runway they started saying things to me for "not following the theme" 😭

The creativity is so true!! If the theme is Cowgirl or cowboy i usually do Applejack from Mlp and got 1st place! And when the theme is Camo i dressed up as a bush and also got 1st place!;3
Im so sad. That dress that shows the skin at sides is gone. U needed to get all tox and go through portal then complete a obby and claim the dress. We have to wait 13 months and 23 days for it to com back😭😭😭😭😭 I actually feel to give dti up rn

i always do this type of stuff but then it turns out my outfit is kind of similar to another's persons outfit and they say that i copied them i just changed the hair and face and colors and some items and then everyone votes 1 star in every round 🥰😍

The main problem are the people rating extremely unfairly

another tip: make your whole outfit one side and the skin tone opposite like the outfit is all light colors but the skin tone is dark and brown or dark colors and light skintone.

Imo do the stuff that takes the most time first like choosing your outfits, hairstyle, accessories, etc before colouring them & making final changes. Hopefully this works for you too :)

I think it means to dress futuristic. Y2K means Year 2000 so it makes sense that Y3K means Year 3000.
