I once got stuck in the rain in my fully uncovered Jeep Wrangler, and it messed up the disc changer making me unable to use any buttons, eject, volume, sticking on what was currently playing - the CD of Brad Paisley, Mud on the Tires. For over a year, my only choices were silence, or Brad Paisley at full volume. One day, while driving down the road, out of nowhere the CD ejected on it's own - without even thinking about it I grabbed that thing and flung it out the window like a frisbee... just hearing that piece of the song made me flashback PTSD 🤣😂
10:15 Jimmy Buffet is not country, never has been. Him featuring on a song with Alan Jackson does not make him country anymore than Nelly featuring on a song with Florida Georgia Line makes Nelly country.
Songs we need for Part 2 are: A Bar Song (Tipsy), Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma, Fast Car, Heart Like A Truck, Tennessee Whiskey, You’re Still The One, and many more……
10:05 You should take it as a compliment. If your body's like a highway, it means everybody rides on it. The back roads are hard to get to but fun to drive.
I’ve only heard the Jimmy Buffett version of 5’o’clock Somewhere, I didn’t even consider it country lol I considered it more yacht rock but now listening again it definitely sounds country
I haven't heard Beyoncé's country music style but I'm not gonna cast judgment because when Darius Rucker from Hootie and the Blowfish went country, I had doubts but he turned out to be an awesome country music singer. Wagon Wheel has turned out to be one of my favorites.
I'm not the biggest Taylor Swift fan in the world but she's definitely got talent and a lot of her songs end up being earworms. When Love Story first came out, I couldn't get that song out of my head if you paid me. The same thing happened with You Belong With Me. And Shake It Off? That tag line bounced around in my head for months! Lol
I've gotten them on the first clue for the first three. Whiskey lullaby is the easiest because on the rare occasions I do karaoke, this is one of my go-to's after asking if any ladies in the audience want to join me to sing the female part. Sometimes I get volunteers and sometimes I have to sing the whole song.
Dolly Parton is a national treasure! Truly beautiful inside as well as out. With the wildfires here in Tennessee a few years ago, she donated so much of her time and personal finances toward rebuilding, donating clothes, making sure that kids had books and toys. She is huge on child literacy. She's one of those celebrities who stay true to their roots and give back to the community where they grew up. She makes appearances at Dollywood regularly but unfortunately, she's only been there when I haven't. I would love to meet her and stand there, awestruck and fumble tongued, not being able to say a word. Lol
My favorite country song? That's not too tough to answer. Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle and Cinderella by Steven Curtis Chapman ... they were the songs I danced with my daughters at their weddings (there wasnt a dry eye in the house lol. Especially mine. Imagine a 6'4" 220 lb man, sobbing uncontrollably, nose running, apologizing because I got snot on their veils) They both told me not to worry about it because they both got snot on my tux. 😂 Also, Live Like You Were Dying, Bless the Broken Road, Whiskey Lullaby, and Let's Make Love do spring to mind as having a special place in my heart.
The only one that I didn't know was Beyoncé but do I get half a point for getting her name because, while I didn't know the song, I remembered that she released a country album & guessed her name? Even if you don't give me that 1/2 point, I'm happy that I got all the other rounds by the 1st or 2nd lyric. Classic rock may be my go to comfort music but I grew up listening to country & blues (dad) and classical & jazz (mom)
I love when Martine, Nick & Ryker put their country boots on! And Ryker is such a young'un that I'm impressed with his knowledge of older country! All 3 were in the previous country lyric battle and they all aced it. And a shout out to Payton for kickin' some serious country butt!
We had a tribute band that used to play at a lot of the honky tonks and roadhouses up in New York (yes, we have those lol) years ago called Shania Twin. The lead singer really looked and sounded exactly like her. Which was great because Shania Twain and Faith Hill are my country crushes.
8:19 I kind of agree with Doc to a certain extent for some people but for me, I've been getting all of these on the first or second clue. However, I do know a lot of people that mumble through the lyrics and then sing loud & proud during the chorus.
Not a Country music fan, but it's insane the amount of people were hateful towards Beyonce for making a Country album, I know she's not a Country artist, despite the fact that she's from Texas, but the hate she got for it was uncalled for, it really wasn't that deep 🤦♀️😑🙄
I don't hate country, but in my opinion the only good country was 90's country. I can name any popular 90's country song easily, but some of these were just not in my wheelhouse.
WETHER YOU LOVE OR HATE COUNTRY MUSIC, IT TELLS THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH!!! THAT'S ONE REASON WHY I LOVE IT!!!! MY MOST FAVORITE COUNTRY BANDS IS RASCAL FLATTS!!!! THEY GOT TOGETHER IN 1999 AND BROKE UP, THIS PAST YEAR. FOR NO APPARENT REASON.
First of all, I really think that Taylor Swift is a self-proclaimed country singer. She always sings pop. Unlike Blake Shelton, he never walks a centimetre away from Country music, and he's the holder of 28 No.1 Country hits. He surely is The King of Country. And when talking 'bout Country music, No Reba, no Blake, no Tim McGraw, that's a sheer incivility.... I wondered how the producer chose the songs....🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
It's hard to choose which songs are my favorites but for me a couple of my favorites are the change by Garth Brooks, Bible and about by Joey and Rory, and I'll be by Reba
Next do try not to cry saddest obscure songs Like Franky j -daddys little girl Or Carrie Underwood temporary home 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏻♀️ I just love this channel
I don’t like random people wearing cowboy/cowgirl hats where I’m from you have to earn the right to wear a cowboy/cowgirl hat i was born in Columba Tennessee but we we moved to st.louis when I was 3 cuse my mom didn’t like livening in the country
@@AmyMahoney-m6yThank you. I was born and have lived most of my life in Tennessee. I find this bizarre gatekeeping of a hat absolutely ridiculous. Like 90% of the people wearing cowboy/girls hats over last couple decades are tourists, people randomly dressing up as a cowboy/girl for the day, and either performers or people going to watch performances. A very small percentage that wear these hats have farms/ranches, but most farmers wear baseball caps anyways.
Aw yayyyy I'm so honored to be apart of another REACT video!! I thought Nick smoked me but I guess I didn't do too bad haha!!
Nah, you did great and are fun.
Need some Alabama songs, Trace Akins, Chris Young and Randy Travis.
Love me some country!! Need more country episodes
Whiskey Lullaby is possibly the saddest song ever written!
It's definitely the saddest melody/music. I don't know about the lyrics. They're definitely sad for sure but this is just like a story being told.
Even sadder than Ode to Billie Joe and The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald?
Yeah, it is. 2nd place goes to Stay by Sugarland.

Part 2 please
More country episodes please,
Wagon Wheel by Darius Rucker would have to be my favorite. It got me to start listening to country music
Ok Nick just lost his cool card saying he's not to big on Johnny Cash.
Happy to see whiskey lullaby mentioned, such a great song with a strong message

How did it take everyone until the third clue to know walk the line?!?
Also, FINALLY Johnny Cash is in a video!!!!!
10:05 You should take it as a compliment. If your body's like a highway, it means everybody rides on it. The back roads are hard to get to but fun to drive.
Yall are dressed like Pauly shore in SON-N-LAW!!!😂😂
I love martine in lyric battles rember
If you didn’t come from tiktok raise your hand 🤚🏽
I’ve been here since they had kids react teens react with Tori and Eric
🖖
🖖🏿✌🏿
Go away bot
I don’t even use TikTok
I don't trust people who don't like Dolly or Johnny.
8:40 Waylon and Johnny were best of friends so no shade. Lol
I was hoping to see a Lady Antebellum song. Is it possible to have one there for the next country song challenge?
Ryker is me throughout this quiz! I know it, it's running through my head, but I can't think of the answers!
The third song is my grandma‘s favorite song and I grew up, listening to it she passed away in 2021 so the song whiskey lullaby means a lot to me
I’ve only heard the Jimmy Buffett version of 5’o’clock Somewhere, I didn’t even consider it country lol I considered it more yacht rock but now listening again it definitely sounds country

But for me and Nicolas it's not 5 o'clock somewhere. It's 4:20 somewhere. Lol.
My favorite Country song is Goodbye Earl by The Chicks.
my fav coutnry artists
Luke Combs, Orville Peck, Shania Twain, Tayor Swift(old music)
Apparently, a lot of these were too new for me... my country music knowledge stops around 2000.
Thank you for putting Whiskey Lullaby, one of my all time favorites 🥰
Every time Abigail is on, I think of Stevie Nicks.
Most of these songs were awesome, definitely one of my favorite vids recently
I recognized some but I had no idea they were ‘classed’ as country, not surprised with Johnny Cash
You are cool 😎
It was fun seeing Beyonce throw her hat in the country ring.
Please define fun because I don't consider having your ears bleed from how bad it is fun.
Song seven lyric one ... Margaritaville without a doubt! If I'm wrong, I'll eat my hat
I know country music but Strawberry Wine so far is the first one I got on the first lyric lol
Born country by Alabama. Do a second country one
It's the Jeannette McCurdy look alike
My favorite country song wouldn't be on here because it was written by a friend and he's never sold any of his songs to anyone.

The video for Whiskey Lullaby hit me hard because that happened to me, and the video came out after my deployment surprise came.😢
That song with that video, man. I've only watched it a few times, because it breaks me into a blubbering mess every time.
Poor Dianna Carter being told she's Taylor Swift 😢
I love her version of Free Fallin' too.
Where did you find Hannah??😍😍
G'day mate and howdy.... 🤠
Who's happy ?
Mostly because they included Johnny Cash.

Lets gooo!
Martine slaying as a country girl.
Yee-haw!!!! Payton and Abigail not far behind!!!! But my heart will still go to Martine
Julian and Payton have those beautiful cheeks 😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉🎉
I'm not a country music fan but Brad Paisley is more than just an acoustic guitar player. I've heard him play he knows what he's doing with a guitar.
Doc in this Cowboy attire might catapulted him to be the hottest man on earth! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nick love country music‼️‼️
He knows his country music. No one can beat him on this.

Love Nick and Ryker this episode!
One of the girls look like Taylor Swift 😂
I see Nick, I click, Immediately 😂😂
Margaritaville is not a country song
Just another song from a country-rock singer.
ryker i saw you on the conners
one of my all fav producer

Cowboys 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Beyonce 😒
Beyonce country? Nah she ain't.
Her new album is though

Sam Hunt ain't real country.
True
Neither is Beyonce
It’s considered country pop
@@antoniomarin9061 Country pop is the song "Love on Arrival" by Dan Seals.
It's hard to choose which songs are my favorites but for me a couple of my favorites are the change by Garth Brooks, Bible and about by Joey and Rory, and I'll be by Reba
Martine Yellow Report: The Usual....and I'm so tempted to say yellow cowboy (girl?) boots but I can't.
I Love Country Music I Knew Some Of Country Songs even the oldies Country.
Next do try not to cry saddest obscure songs
Like Franky j -daddys little girl

I just love this channel

Your videos always leave a mark in the heart and mind of the viewers. Thank you for your creativity and depth of thought!🐟🗽🔨
Can you please do a: Teens react on mayhem (or general black metal)?
We're calling Jimmy Buffett country now?
It took them to long to get any man of mine
Im surprised that you didn't mention that dolly loss in a look alike contests of her. How funny that some one looks more like you then you 😆
Ik I would not be meant for this episode
😂why u think of diddy when that said oil
I listen to Lauren Alaina sometimes but that’s all the country I listen to. Country is not really my thing at ALL.
10:12 Thought it was Diddy
nic is a country boy!!🤍🤠
Okay cow pokes
It crushes me to the bones every time Marine screams out the lyrics to the wrong tune. I love her to death, but she's killing these songs 😫
Missing a T. The lady is not water.
First broooo🎉
Country fans punching the air right now when they saw Beyonce 😂
All Taylor Swift songs is just the same. And not country
Yes
Shake it off is so similar to Exile. I couldn't differentiate 😮
Wow this channel declined lmao
How TF does Margaritaville get classified as a country song?
How about texas hold'em, that ain't country.
