this video was an absolute life saver. I got tired of modding beat saber over and over again after every update. Thank goodness i can just keep the working version installed and eventually transfer over mods to the newer versions when mods get updated. Thank you lots, Now I finally started playing Beat Saber again.

I just get int vr this summer and one of my first game wad beat saber. It is quite hard to find revelent information on modding most of the info I found were outdated.

THANK YOU NAYSY as always coming in clutch lol I part of an adhd clinical research group and on this Wednesday I'm doing a huge VR demo for them. 16 unmediated people with adhd that have never tried VR before lol Its incredible for my ADHD so I'm stoked to be showing it off and everything VR can do. I get to show some doctors and psychologists as well which is cool. Obviously Beat Saber will be part of it, but I've been worried it might break before Wednesday cause it really be like that lol but this just removed that worry so again thanks for being the best =]

I can tell by how much love the developers put into this that they really care and are super passionate about it. That said putting in my steam login makes me a little uncomfortable. I'll probably get it later but for now I am just going to stick to custom songs.

hi there, do you know how to get custom songs working without this launcher? im the same as you and dont want to give out my steam login so ive been looking around and there doesnt seem to be any good tutorials for pcvr custom songs and was wondering if you could explain how you do it?

Hai! Very good video TYSM! But.. I have one question, is this work when I have Beat Saber on steam from my friends library?
The other tool, BSLegacyLauncher, could be added to Steam as a 3rd party game and with launch options you could set which version you want to launch from SteamVR. I think BSManager should have the same option, but I couldn't find it documented anywhere.

Entering credentials in a random application is sadly a no no for me :/ No matter if I trust it or not. "Sign in through steam" exists for a reason
You only need to login through steam if you want to download previous versions of the game. And there is a more complicated way to do it that doesn't require you to login through Steam.
Would the newer versions for beat saber would the more songs tab have different songs? I keep searching for some songs and they don’t pop up

hi, I don't use mods with beat saber, but I noticed that some custom songs that used to work now don't anymore. Is it also linked to updates?
The version management is super handy. All the versions 1.29.4 on with the Unity update are have been broken on WMR for me. Being able to easily toggle back and forth would have saved me a bunch of hassle.
Does this also works on family shared beat saber? Since I did not buy the game

Let's go, I have given naysy this to test and see what she thought about it as well as gave her my insights on it with the only downside if you want more that one version you have to put in your stream id and password each time but other than that it's good tool and simple to use.

Hey, Naysy! Wonderful video as always! I had a quick question in regards to how the program works. You mentioned that this works for the Steam version only, which can be played via AirLink/link cable, but would it work for a Quest 3 using something like Virtual Desktop, or would I need to use the Quest-specific modding tutorial for that instead?
Virtual Desktop or any of the options you mentioned work great

If you uninstall beat saber on the oculus for mods, will that get rid of original songs that you have paid for or will they remain on the game?

How do you get to the assets page?
I cannot for the life of me get this to work. Im able to install 1.29.1 and add all the mods you suggested plus one or two other ones. I chose some sabers i liked and downloaded those, and then downloaded some songs as well. Im able to get this version to run, but 1) when i try to see the sabers i downloaded, the list shows but i cant see the saber at all. And 2) i cannot press play on any of the songs, custom or not. Im at a loss here. The mods and custom songs are working just fine on the most recent version of beatsaber, but the main thing im missing out on is the custom sabers. I truly dont understand what the issue is. Someone please help.
I have maps downloaded to the "🔗Shared" side menu, but nothing in the steam icon. How do I launch the "shared" menu version with all the maps.
Thanks for telling us about this, Naysy. I have taken your advice and redownloaded 1.29.1 [though oddly mine also has "(1)" after it] but all my loads of custom songs do not show up in that version. They DO show up in 1.31.0 (the latest version). Surely I don't need to download them all again? Maybe I can just copy or move the folder they are in?
I have solved this temporarily by copying the "CustomLevels" folder from "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Beat Saber\Beat Saber_Data\"to "BSManager\BSInstances\1.29.1 (1)\Beat Saber_Data". But surely there is a way to make all versions look at the same "CustomLevels" folder?
I also had to copy over the "Playlists" folder similarly.
Beatsaber legacy has my preference. But great video
Hello a quick question. Is it going to work if I run the Beat Saber with the Quest 3 from Steam Link? Or is there any way to run the game from the SBManager if I only connect my Quest 3 with my PC through the Steam Link? (I'm not using Virtual Desktop at the moment).

I have a moded version 1.25.1 on the quest 2 and beat saber keeps crashing. Is that normal or do I need to redo the mod for a newer version of beat saber?

You can do that but not with this program.

Wanted to ask if it's possible to play beat saber in 3. person without LIV. Like i want to see myself from behind. I had this one my quest and now wanna have it on Steam as well (I wanted to get new songs on my Quest and now nothing works anymore there and I tried to modd it again for like 10+ hours with different tutorials and everything nothing worked.) I cant really play in first Person because I just cant see as much as I do in 3. person. Would be really nice if there is someone who can help me

And i thought the stand alone beat saber quest mods was a treat, so recently i bought beat saber on steam so i can make some cool videos and stuff and recently i saw this, now ive already seen and done the stand alone quest modding and of course it worked just as it was supposed to, now, since i saw this, i decided to give it a try, and oh my gosh, it was in that moment the first time i tried it i knew it was worth getting XD
One question though is there a way to get trick sabers w this?

Wait this is a game changer. I recently bought beat saber on PC after playing on standalone and I remember watching your vid to mod standalone and that was way more tedious than this. LFG LFG LFG!
I actually already had bsmanager to do mods, The reason why was cause i was in the discord server and i said how to get mods in #help tab so then someone said you had to downgrade your version and the bot said that you have to download bsmanager to do it and it had mods and stuff

It does but not if you downgrade. But you can just switch between versions if you want to play DLC

hey there, great video, but i have a slight problem. i use a hp reverb g2, doe's this only work for an oculous? every time i try to launch it, i get stuck in windows mixed reality. if i close windows mixed reality, i don't get a display on my head set. any one have any ideas?
It was working 2 weeks ago but now with LIV it won’t open the downgraded version so my mods don’t show up. 😞 do you know the fix? It use to work fine.

I don't think it does. Download a program called Mod Assistant instead. It just doesnt downgrade your version
