Always interesting hearing something new from this channel. Just to say, that 'some of us' enjoyed the lecture series format too when that was on offer, e.g. the awesome series on Freud and Art.
Great video! I wish people nowadays were more interested in this type of content. Humanity hasaccess to a tremendous amount of information, and yet, has never been so lost.
I recall a point Reich made about how compatible Freudian Psychoanalysis is with Marxist sociology. Both systems rely on base drives, with any more grandiose systems being the complexifications, advances of, and interactions of base drives, and both systems rely on dialectical, that meaning contradictory, formations as a source of instability and creative output.
This is so interesting! Couldn't find the second part. Would be very grateful if you can upload. Thanks

seconding this! these little installments are nice, but i actually prefer the longer lecture format that jakob mentioned.

Great start! Are the following parts available somewhere? I would be keen to view them. Many thanks.
I would like to hear more about drives, wishes and sublimation
Thanks! Would love to hear more about object relations theory, not many good videos on it yet available on UA-cam. :)
would like to see a video on the death drive
Thank you for the suggestion! We are actually planning to record one on the death drive very soon!

I still think that books help with thirst for knowledge😅
