I flew on Hot Lips in March 2007 back from Orlando to Gatwick..I stayed awake all night watching films and finally fell asleep about five minutes before landing. When we touched tarmac I awoke and assumed we'd crashed X-D I still remember the sunburst out the window when I opened the blind many hours over the ocean. Gorgeous.
Thanks! I had planned it out carefully before i went and it seems to have turned out good :D The last 50 days is when the excitement really kicks in, I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for watching!
This will be my first virgin flight and second into orlando , always done sanford as i love the drive from the airport , also flying premium just to see what all the fuss is about but messed up my seat booking and only flying in the bubble on the way back to glasgow
Nice! Is that the MD-88 you're taking for the hop? I also went on the MD-88 to Miami for 2 days and went back to Orlando for the rest of the holiday. Thanks for watching!
I did this flight. I was disappointed with the amount of space we had...Except I was happy that they have us blankets like the last 3 times I have done this flight!
I believe the space isn't the greatest in the standard seats. However, I would recommend picking the extra legroom seats as shown in this video, for me -being 6ft- I found the rather comfortable and spacious. Yes, I love the little things they give you such as the blanket. Makes you feel at home haha. Thanks for watching!
I believe so, unfortunately. In may they ceased all operations of the 747 effective immediately to my understanding. A shame. Was a beautiful aircraft to fly on. Thanks for watching!
`First time I ever flew was ( in 1985, when I was 21 ) from London to Rome. There was a Boeing 747:400 JJ really close to the satelite our plane was departing from and I wanted to get aboard that Queen so much. A few years later I flew from London to New York, JFK. I felt sure it would be my first time on the Jumbo Jet, but no ! It was on a DC 10. Third time lucky : From London to Mexico City. By which time I`d become almost paralyzed in the fear of flying. I don`t know - in between - what type of aircraft I`ve been on hither and thither. But I know that I`ve been on board a Boeing 747. Ps, a piece of trivia : As my girlfriend and I ( it was her very first flight ) sat on the Jumbo ready to go to Mexico City, I saw the winglets standing at the end of the wing of the aircraft. If I were to guess I`d have given it a height - from the mainwing surface - of about 3 to 4 feet - at most. They are 7ft high. So even when you`re on a Jumbo it`s difficult to realise just how large these machines are.
Ah, that must be why! Because of the jet stream's direction (West to East over America) you go about 100Kts (115mph) faster due to the strong winds pushing your aircraft when travelling in that direction and if you travel in the other direction, the opposite happens :) I hoped you enjoyed your experience in Orlando!
Haha, dont worry mate. The camera wobble is from me holding it and nothing else, as my camera weighs alot, and therefore i can't attach it to anything. Also, my arm was pretty much unusable for an hour or so after filming this. As for the wing flex, all planes are designed to flex their wings at least a little, nothing wrong with it at all. Its just how they're built. Apart from this explanation, I hope you enjoy your time there! I still remember the trip fondly.
When the tested the 767 wing flex in the 80s they actually got the wingtips to touch together above the cabin without the wings snapping I believe. No wonder the 767 did so much damage on 9/11
Enjoyed the report! Loved the interior bits starting at 24:50! Did that say talk @ 20,000 feet! Would not want to be next to that person 😂 oh and that safety is the best looking one I've ever seen! Liked and subbed! ✈️🛫👍
Haha, that wouldn't be the most relaxing flight if someone was chatting behind be, tapping the screen every second. It truly was an amazing flight. Thanks for watching!
yes, these seats were the extra legroom seats, I cant properly judge the difference between these seats and normal seats as i have not yet flown in the normal seats but from seeing some normal seats in the middle, it looks like it is nearly 2x the leg space which is essential when flying long haul, so i would recommend them :) Thanks for watching!
Sorry but the departure Terminal was wrong...it's Terminal 2 at Manchester...VS are at Terminal 3 at Heathrow; also VS 076 is the return flight, so this would be either VS 073 or VS 075
It depends on the strength of the winds and jetstream I believe however I didn't particularly mind as it felt like 3 hours with all of the films anyway hehe
If you're not here to watch that then skip past it? Many people like the "full flight" nature of it. In the future, i'll narrow it down anyways. Was my first trip report so there's always room for improvement.

The last time I flew with the jumbo was in 2019 when I flew on one from Manchester to Orlando
I absolutely loved this video. Such a non pretentious and honest account.
Thank you for sharing
It's my pleasure, glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for watching!
On the same flight in 14 days, first time travelling alone at 18, great video!
Thanks! Seats are very spacious so no need to worry about holiday families squeezing you in like many other airlines xD I hope you enjoy it!
747-400
i did this flight in august 2015! amazing plane to say the least
Just saw this plane fly over my house in Orlando, thanks for video
No problem! It is a truly amazing aircraft to see. Thanks for watching :)

Thanks! I had planned it out carefully before i went and it seems to have turned out good :D The last 50 days is when the excitement really kicks in, I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for watching!

Awesome shadow of the plane as it was banking on the approach
Indeed, the art of flying in a nutshell :D
How nice. Flying JFK to MAN upper class in July. Subscribed
Thank you! Oooh, upper class does sound really nice :D Let me know how it goes!
Excellent video, setting off to Orlando in 7 days but taking the virgin a330 to Atlanta and then transferring via delta for the rest of the journey.
Nice! Is that the MD-88 you're taking for the hop? I also went on the MD-88 to Miami for 2 days and went back to Orlando for the rest of the holiday. Thanks for watching!
At first it was, but now the plane has changed to an a320
Ah ok, the flight i went on to miami from orlando came directly from Atlanta and it was an MD-88, however there was a 3 hour delay due to storms
This guys deserves loads of subscribers
Thank you for your kind words :D

gorgeous flight review. Have they retired their Queen yet? Not many 747s left nowadays. Liked and subbed
I believe so, unfortunately. In may they ceased all operations of the 747 effective immediately to my understanding. A shame. Was a beautiful aircraft to fly on. Thanks for watching!
I've just been on that airplane back from Varadero to Gatwick!!!!!
Nice! How did it go? It truly is an amazing aircraft... Thanks for watching!
It went very well thank you. We had Captain Andy Callahan who let us sit in the cockpit.

Rip monarch
59:36 And now, everything will be hot.
i was on it yesterday from orlando back to manchester

Ugh can’t wait for this I’m going on 6 th of July but looking at the wing flex and the camera wobble makes me uneasy

Along with the wing flex they are designed like that to get rid of as much turbulence as they can if they didnt wobble the whole cabin would be shook
When the tested the 767 wing flex in the 80s they actually got the wingtips to touch together above the cabin without the wings snapping I believe. No wonder the 767 did so much damage on 9/11

In that seat in just a few weeks, how did u find the extra bit of legroom?
I found it totally worth the extra paid. Well more than enough room for me at least and i'm 6ft. Thanks for watching!
was your seat an 'extra legroom' row? just wondering if you thought they were worth the £
yes, these seats were the extra legroom seats, I cant properly judge the difference between these seats and normal seats as i have not yet flown in the normal seats but from seeing some normal seats in the middle, it looks like it is nearly 2x the leg space which is essential when flying long haul, so i would recommend them :) Thanks for watching!
We did extra legroom most certainly worth it as hubby 6foot 3

Yeah, realised that sadly a few minutes after posting hehe. Thanks for pointing it out though :)
was on tinker bell and ladybird
wow, 1995 all over again ....
brave ...
Did the Plot Request the flaps to go down?
Yes the 'plot' would request the flaps to go down for takeoff and again for landing...
You need a lot of likes and subs I subbed and liked!
Thank you!
That’s terminal 2 not terminal 3
I didn't think of that good point
How did the person with vid camera stand all that shouting like excited children 😡
I go in 3 days
Nice! I hope you enjoy it, there is lots to do! Thanks for watching :D
You'll love it!
it is 8hr i was on it
It depends on the strength of the winds and jetstream I believe however I didn't particularly mind as it felt like 3 hours with all of the films anyway hehe
Wow 13K views already!!! Thank you so much for the support and kind comments guys! :D

Thank you!
Good video apart from the stop starting! Very annoying
Agreed, definitely looking for a fix in the future :)
Thanks for watching!
If you want to look at a wing for a hour it’s good! But I don’t so it’s BAD
If you're not here to watch that then skip past it? Many people like the "full flight" nature of it.

who ever said "woah" on the takeoff just needs to get kicked off the plain immediately
So what? They’re excited
food is horrible
