As always, this was a great video. I have the Guardian cut out and will use your shorter handle tip, hopefully that’ll make sewing those curves easier 🤞
Ok I've been sewing for 4 years. This bag took me 3 days to make!!! Thank you so much for this tutorial. Fantastic job once again lauren! BTW the angle was PERFECT!
Love this print fabric, the bag, and the screwdriver! The sharp stiletto things always snag, so i will def be using a flat head from now on. I almost always have my nails done (diy gelx)
If you put your swivel clips on the straps, you can clip the straps to the bag and it help keep the straps out of the way while you finish the bag. You don't fight the rolled up straps and it works so good.
I bought the pattern for this backpack, but it looks way too advanced for me. Normally I always watch videos before making a purchase, but for some reason, I didn't this time. Thank you for making this video.
This bag is kicking my ***, and I would say I'm an advanced level bag maker. Love all your tips. At the end of the day I think this pattern would be better bound. What are your thoughts Lauren? Are you planning to try that method? If you do ,you should for SURE do a tutorial on it. Thanks for your help and extra advice on this bag.
I love your waterproof canvas, the color is soft..i didn't see it in the website tho..maybe sold out? I'll wait until 1st of March then if you're restocking it.
WOW! It’s Gorgeous! I hope it is okay to ask for advice. Lauren I watch your channel all the time! I’m new to bag making. LOVE LOVE watching the channel! I’m gathering supplies. I have made ITH Embroidery zipper bags but not purses. Does anyone know if I can alter my CAM SNAP press to attach rivets? I’ve seen the separate dies for them. Hope I don’t have to order another press. Extremely limited on space. Thanks!
Have you tried making a scaled down version of this yet? I love this pattern and have made it a couple of times, but I want to try to make one that’s a bit smaller, but I’ve never scaled a pattern down.
I used pellon single sided fusible cut 1/2” smaller on top and bottom! I keep it in the side seams. I like the structure it gives with thinner materials too!
I think it would be easier if you sew the lining sides before the exterior ones. Also personally I would have done the whole lining with binding even the sides😂 lazy me . Great job 👏 as usual

You are such a good teacher . I can’t wait to get my sewing machine to start sewing. ❤
Late night anxiety sucks. But this video really helped, thank u. Such a cute bag, now I want to sew a guardian.
All your Guardians came out beautifully! Thanks for this tutorial.
I have learned so much watching you. Thanks Lauren.
You are so smart when it comes to sewing your bags I love watching your videos just keep up the good work
It's so cute!!!!! I finally sewed one! I'm definitely making more. "Caught the Guardian bug"

I always attach my foam using double sided tape, keeping it out of the seam allowances.

Love that bag! I just purchased this pattern a couple days ago. Thanks for all the tips! I know they will help me out.

I don’t know how it would be possible to bind all the seams but you could try!
Girl you probably have hands of steel at this point wrangling these bags around to sew them 😁💙
Did you just "poopsicles"....twice? 🤣🤣

The one in this video is not for sale
@@LaurenMormino oh then, did you have any waterproof canvas for sale.. other colors maybe

I know KAM snap sells other attachment items but I’m not sure about CAM?
I mis-spelled KAM. I was asking if the presses are the same or do I need to purchase a separate press for rivets?
@@DebbieDeeable press is the same, you just need corresponding dies for rivets (in appropriate size)
Where is the first video when u put the other inside pocket in that u have there?
What foot are you using?

Ooooh I have not. I was even thinking scaled up!
Hi Lauren! Thanks for the tutorial. For the foam, what size do you use and do you recommend using it if you're using a quilt cotton? Thanks!

Love love
Lauren when will that pink and purple be back in stock!
The purple is coming in June!
Outstanding! Love your choice of “stiletto”. Lol. Actually looking forward to a rainbow glitter version. You’re serious….right?
Oh I don’t joke about rainbow and glitter
@@LaurenMormino Glad to hear it. Glitter is my favorite color! Hmmm, now that would look good on a Label!
What is the stitch length you use? And where did you get your double-sided tape?
DST is on my website moremeknow.com
My stitch length preference is 4.5
@@LaurenMormino thank you so much!
@LaurenMormino is it called the weft and wrapped co?
Is this the one I bought for my daughter or just one like it? 😁💙 I haven't seen it yet since they don't live nearby anymore.
This is the one you bought for your daughter! I’m fairly certain 😂
@@LaurenMormino So she got one of the 1st of the OG Guardian Backpacks💙
Does anyone know where I can get this pattern from as it says not found on the link 😭
Weird. lindshandmade.com/collections/pdf-patterns/products/guardian-anti-theft-backpack-pdf-sewing-pattern-includes-svgs

This pattern was a nightmare for me to sew. Couldn't it be made with binding?
It could yep!
