@RoseAndWorld I checked (on Korea, Aus, US .go/.gov websites, for accuracy). The 'Temporary Exemptions' applies to only 22 Countries/regions & their citizens. The Exemptions doesn't apply for most Asian* countries. Except Japan, Macao, Taiwan, Singapore, & Special Districts of Hong Kong, Macau. Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Macao, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, UK, US (including Guam). A further non-exemption. If have recently prior been in countries that don't have K-ETA exemption, even if coming from an exempt country, a K-ETA is required, regardless of what country you live in. (so would that mean if traveling through Asia, be good idea to go to South Korea first or via exempt countries, then to central south-east asian countries? * People traveling for Business Travel from a number of (more) countries, if valid ABTC card holder (APEC Nations card), are not required to apply for a K-ETA [excluding US & Canada]. That last bit is confusing isn't it, when it says visitors/tourists from US/Canada don't need a K-ETA. But that was on non .go/.gov website. List I put above appears to most up-to-date list. Most on the gov sites are dated March 2023, & appears been a few changes since then, re which countries. (My disclaimer: is only what I found online, so may not be fully accurate; always check official government websites and seek professional advice, if not clear.)
